We have a condo In Carolina Beach NC and head down there about every other weekend in the warm weather months. Let's see some of those Gladiators on beaches.
I live in North Carolina and summer night are very damp and moist. Storms pop up here often similar to Florida. If I'm away from the Jeep for more than an hour, I always put my cockpit cover on.
A lot of our "manufacturer issues" would be solved if we produced/made more things here in the great ol' USA instead of outsourcing everything overseas. I didn't say ALL of our issues but a lot would be.
That's the NP231 if I remember right? I've seen some listed on Facebook marketplace a few times. Before you tear into it, maybe check for a used one that is working first. May save you a lot of work. If def does not sound like it should and does need something repaired for sure.
With the amount of ATF thats showing on the outside of the T-Case, I would venture to say your T-Case is out and what you are hearing is the gears moving without fluid. Have you checked your fluid or changed it recently?
I bought this and I really like it. the only con I have is the amount of wall space the length of the doors takes up. That's not a knock on the company, thats a knock on my lack of wall space in my shed. If you mount them, just make sure you mount them at the height you are carrying the doors...
I guess install depends on who you get to do it. I'm having 4 wheel parts install mine on Oct 4th. I saw someone say their local 4 wheel parts location install it for $700 but that was in 2020. I'm getting mine installed for less than $1000. I will say, I did attempt to start installing this...
You already have one on the Gladiator. Unless you are looking for additional stabilization or looking to upgrade whats there (I wouldn't unless its broken). I wouldn't mess with to much of the suspension or steering on the Mojave. Thats why I'm just doing the spacer lift. Every other Jeep I've...
The Mojave AEV doesn't come with a steering stabilizer. They do come with the Carrier Bearing Spacer but that's to correct the geometry of the driveshaft. You can fit 35's with no lift and have plenty of spacing with no rub. I'm adding the AEV lift to fit 37's. I also did a ton of research and...
Received mine yesterday and it took all of 1 minute to install both and be back sitting on the couch. super clean and should keep all of the sand and slobber of our Dane off the doors.
I ordered mine from Morris 4x4 because everyone else said they were backordered. Theirs said it was shipping at the end of September. I ordered 1 1/2 weeks ago and it arrived at my doorsetp yesterday. I was surprised but will be installing starting tonight and should finish hopefully mid-day...
It starts talking about just shutting down the Rocky Mountain Loop in this link:
https://nc4x4.com/forum/threads/uwharrie-kodak-update.192353/
I'll have to find another link posting about where it's become a bigger deal in the recent months. I can't seem to find it currently. Driving factor is...
Just ordered mine last week. Excited to have clean, slobber free doors once again. Our Great Dane does a number on the inside of our back doors and we had been searching for something like this. Hopefully these are Great Dane proof.
I'm in Raleigh and its tough to find "legal" places to go these days. Even Uwharrie is on the verge of getting shut down. If you enjoy mud, Busco Beach down in Goldsboro may be your place. I hate mud and try to stay away from it. There is a fun ORV park down in South Carolina called the Gultches...
I ordered this from Offroad Concepts and this is how I hang my doors in the shed. Its obviously not mobile but the doors are pretty light. Especially compared to the older TJ's, YJ's and CJ's steel doors.
I have a 2020 Mojave and am currently waiting the arrival of the Mojave AEV 2" lift. If you are planning on running 37's, from the research I've done... you will want to install some sort of lift to avoid rubbing the inner plastic fender covers. If you remove these, you may not need a lift. If...
