Ok. Got the existing p/n's.
Front: 985-24-177 = The Fox for 2"-3" lift. Extended 26.42 - Compressed 16.80
Rear: 985-24-219 = The Fox for 0"-1.5" lift. Ext 26.92 - Comp 16.80
So, with those, I get 2.17" and 2.67" of drop and 7.45" of stuff on both. I don't think these are the right shocks for...
I'm not an expert on shocks. Not even a little bit.
I've got a Fox Performance Series that is starting to leak. Will be bad soon, so I need to replace them. No p/n on the shocks that I can find. Truck has a cheap REI 2.5"-3.5" lift that they don't even make anymore. Sitting in the driveway...
What's a good one to use? I'd like one that doesn't sacrifice any on-road stability, so from my understanding, Currie antirock is out (though I've never tried them).
I've never leased a vehicle. Seems counterproductive to me. If by some hellish chance I did, I would definitely NOT put money into it in aftermarket parts.
That said, I agree with the others. Talk to the lease company about a lower number first. They may not want it at all. If they will not...
Truck sat ass low since I bought it. Cheap ass REI lift and springs....I thought. The cool rake is back after wheeling this weekend.
Still a cheap ass lift, but if I'd known that all the springs needed was a little stretching, I'd have wheeled it sooner. Lol
Well, went thru the settings and sure enough, still set at a 4.10 ratio. The shop probably didn't do the specific "save" process that the Tazer requires.
Its set properly now. Drive to work tomorrow it'll get tested.
