I drive my truck every day. The amount of power it draws over night will never be an issue. If for any reason it would set for an extended period, I'd simply unplug them
I have a Garmin dash cam, that goes into surveillance mode when parked. It draws VERY little power, and I use the 12v port for it. Just looking for the simplest, cheapest way to make that constant power. This relay seems like it's a simple plug in. That's why I asked if anyone has previous...
So, doing research to make the port constant power instead of switched. I saw the jumper wire deal, but then I ran across this. Has anyone used this?

That last line says it all for me. I've owned diesels since 2004. i tried a couple times to go back to a gasser, and they all feel like there's something wrong with them when you try to pull a hill after driving diesels. I'll pay the extra to not have to beat on it to climb a grade.
Unless you're REALLY abusing your tires, or towing/hauling WAY over what the truck is rated for, I'd suggest NOT going with an E rated tire. They are much heavier, and stiffer, it'll kill fuel mileage, and ride.
My first choice was to go 285/75-17, but I got a much better deal on a set of 285/70-17, that someone had ran about 50 miles and decided they wanted something different, saved myself about $400!! The price of tires today is NUTS Went with an Ultra wheel with +10 offset, ant that put them right...
