Hey, when I lived in AZ I would see 5-6 Chevy Volts with a similar setup and it drove me nuts because I could not figure out what they were. One day I asked a cop about it and he said they were self driving vehicles, but were mainly mapping streets and data for other self driving vehicles... or...
This horse proudly served the in US Army Cavalry out in the western territories back in the 1800s. He was a good and patriotic horse serving his country. Not much is known about his death, but we do know this thread will not stop beating him. RIP
There is a thread somewhere in here stating the towing capacity is going to be 6500lbs. I think 6500 to 7000lbs is what the mid-size truck market delivers so I would not expect the JT to surpass that. Trust me all the info you can ever want on the JT is in here if you look.
ITS NOT A TRUE TRUCK!!!!! ITS JUST A JEEP WITH A TRUCK BED!!! Therefore stop the truck expectations about numerous cab and bed configurations. Good grief people.
I came across this article and thought I would see what you all thought. There are some really great thoughts on the article in the comments section. Basically, this kid thinks he is the second coming of Mark A. Smith without the willingness to grow or mentor the community. If you don't know who...
Yea, I know I read that too a couple of years ago. I might have even read the same about Dodge. I'm sure they got something out of it since the JT is going to put the Brute Dept at AEV out of business.
The pricing is concerning, however, I think folks can get into a JL if they add only "needed" options. A base Rubicon with destination charge is $41,690 which is by no means a drop in the bucket, but when you look at what is included at that price point its a good vehicle. The only "needs" I...
I'm sure I'll get lit up for this, but I cannot understand why there such apprehension, question, or at least a perceived disappointment in the JT's capabilities as a truck?
Yes, inherently with the JT designation we think truck, but we all understand that's just window dressing, right? The JT...
With the way the pricing looks I'll be settling for a soft top, but its easier for me to make that decision since I have a company car for commuting. Plus, I currently live in FL, but am hoping to be living somewhere in the NW/Rocky Mountain region by the time it comes out. What I really am...
Since we are just in a holding pattern I was thinking about how I want to use my JT and what I would like it to look like. I'm hoping by the time I'm ready to buy I'll be back in Arizona or out west -currently in FL for a job opportunity. I really want to start exploring the west so I'd like to...
I think the TRD Off-Road may be a little closer to apples to apples only because the TRD Pro is largely cosmetic and geared towards the Pre-Runner crowd. With a "similarly" equipped TRD Off-Road I can build for less than 40K. It is tough though because no matter what its not going to be apples...
