I went t from the stock 33” AT3W ‘s 35” AT4W’s and see no discernible difference , if anything the ride is a little softer. I did drop the pressure from 36 to 30.

So I’m still trying to decide how to get a true 2” lift on my Mojave. What I don’t want to end up with is 3 or more inches of lift , which from researching , seems to be the norm with a lot of 2” kits. At this point I’m leaning on just doing the AEV Mojave spacer kit. If going this route , what...
We do mostly trails in Colorado , generally around Ouray. On the more difficult ones , Mineral Creek , Poukeepsie , Imogene, I scraped more than I would like. Mostly on the Rock Hard rails. No damage. Occasionally had one rear wheel air borne. Mainly I don’t want to stuff a tire in the wheel...
Thanks for all the reply’s. I’m leaning slightly towards the MOPAR 2” w/ bilstein resevoir shocks. Add track bars and front sway disconnects. Not 100% yet. Got new Falkland 35-11.50/17’s today. Any input on ride quality with those shocks?
So we do moderate to difficult trails around Colorado. Stock Mojave has handled everything I’ve throwon at it , but we have drug more than I would like. About due for tires anyway , so thinking 35x11.50 Falkans. Decided a 2 to 2 1/2” lift would be a good idea. Problem is , the choices are...
Mine made a squeaking noise intermittently. Mainly the front. Removed the dust shields, raised suspension, and put a dab of silicone grease on the piston. The grease will work into the dust boot , which seems to be the problem. This seems to last at least 6 months.

Update. Ok , so looks like I may be one of the few , or possibly the only one , that has had this issue. Dealer replaced the center stack switches under warranty , and all has been functioning properly since.

On most start ups , everything works fine. Maybe one out of ten , nothing on the center AC control panel works. None of the switches in this panel illuminate to last setting or function. After 2 to 20 seconds , they will illuminate to indicate setting and function properly. When this happens...
I would drill right down the center of the stud , it’s trashed anyway. Start small then move up to larger bits til you cut thru the threads.. I’ve had to do it a few times before I retired after 50+ years twisting wrenches. If you chisel you are almost guaranteed a damaged wheel.

Check with folks tha have painted fenders. I wanted black for the color contrast. But , first trip out rocks peppered the fenders , particularly the front side of the rears. I can only imagine what they would look like had they been painted.

I have the MOPAR hard trifold cover, and it makes the side tie points a little tough to get to. The front one I removed , as it was virtually useless with the cover.

This is not a Jeep specific problem, more of a halogen bulb issue. Fairly high current draw , add in a little corrosion or slightly loose connectors , and heat is generated. I don’t know how many of these connectors I have replaced in my shop over the years , but a bunch. I am a retired auto...
A lighter socket and a power point are actually different sockets , generally.. in most instances either will work as a 12V power source. I have , however , seen on occasion a plug-in device that would short circuit inside a lighter socket and blow the fuse but work fine in a dedicated power...
