Hey, not exactly direct comparison to your question, but I'm running takeoff Mohave springs on my Willys (I liked the silver color springs) with the stock Willys shocks (JL red Rubicon shocks), so the Fox 2.0's would only be an improvement on mine I'm sure. Heck, I'd love to upgrade to that or...
Well, was curious to see what the think tank here knows, appears you are supposed to remove them too ha.... I've been driving for 1.5 years with them left in, whoops! Guess it works, but not "supposed" too ;)

I drive like that often, haven't had an issue yet, even on the highway at 75+.
Top open with or without back window. I honestly think I've only actually removed them once just to try it. They are firmly attached on their own.
I had a '17 4Runner that was crushed by a tree during a storm. Very similar experience to yours with the local Toyota dealer. Repairs took months and months. And I was clueless at the time of my input to totaled or not (I wanted it totaled). I assumed it was, and insurance said otherwise. I...
Thanks! And thanks again for all the help getting the tires! Great experience working with you guys.
Anyone in the market, definitely reach out to @Discount Tire and give them a shot. Were really helpful in answering questions and coordinating installation with a local store.
Hey, those pics are a stock Willys Sport, no lift at all, on 35" KO2's.
This pic is after swapping the front springs for Mohave springs and putting in a 2.5" Rough Country spacer. Haven't had time to get the back done yet, but putting in Mohave springs and 2" spacers.
Hope it helps!
Fun couple hours while hanging with kiddo in the driveway this afternoon handing me wrenches and sockets.... finally got around to installing the 2.5" spacer lift along with a set of Mojave springs on the front of my Willys. Not going to lie, the silver-colored shocks make me smile. Rear's...
Honestly tires are the single biggest thing in my opinion. Mine's a Willys so it came with mud terrains, but they were only 32's. Threw on a set of KO2 315/70/17 (~35's) on the stock wheels, and it just changed the whole truck's look in one mod. And honestly, the bigger tires look better in...
Like many others, the Badlands 12K is my plan. Just hard to beat it when they have their good sales, the reviews are good, looks decent and people just seem to like them. I'm planning to snag one soon, hoping for a good Black Friday sale to finally install one on mine.
There are better...
Just reporting in, hadn't seen this thread before, but mines been doing this exact noise when accelerating through ~3000RPM as well. Sounds exactly like the videos and as everyone is describing, though mine seems more dash/steering wheel/that part of firewall area to me and haven't noticed the...
Any advantage or disadvantage to doing one side at a time on the Jeeps? Last one I installed was on a 4Runner with IFS before installing a kit on my sister's Rubicon a couple weeks ago. Instructions said drop front axle with front wheels off, unhook front driveshaft etc.... seemed excessive...
This is the real world stuff I'm looking for! Curious how it feels and operates moving forward.
My wife won't even drive my manual JT despite my attempts to teach her (probably end in divorce). Thanks for all feedback on how these are holding up!
Hey, can't let this go to the dumpster ha. Curious how the ECU tuning process would work on your used unit? Does the computer have to go to Magnuson or do they provide some sort of tuner with the kit? Or would this need to be tuned through someone like Dave? Not sure he's doing that anymore...
