I really like the Nighthawk. Promptly ditch the 20's, which is cheap using oem takeoffs, and you're left with a decent base platform for many people. Wide axles, LSD, colored body panels, hardtop (if that's what you want) and back in '24, power options that weren't standard on the sport. All at...
Doesn't need to be checked unless there is a cooling problem, which these vehicles can trick you into thinking there is because they are so hard to cool.
Will do. I updated my results. After driving several hundred miles over the weekend, I did lose 1/4" in the front due to the suspension settling, but I'm still very pleased.
I got my Rubicon springs, shocks, and TF 1.5" leveling kit installed today. I did add the Mopar longer LCAs. Front increase of 2.25", rear increase of 1.00". It's almost perfectly level, with only 1/8" higher in the rear. Rides great on the road, up to 70mph so far.
Update: After a couple of...
So gang, with the Rubicon springs/shocks and Teraflex 1.5" spacer, aside from the slightly longer control arms, should I add longer end links? Nobody mentions doing this when adding just the leveling kit onto a Rubicon. :headscratch
I'm getting ready to do mine next week with same. I'm using heavier springs from a Rubicon (steel bumpers) and the 1.5 Teraflex kit. I'm adding the longer lower control arms from the Mopar 2" lift kit to get a little more caster. I'll try to remember to post pics.
I read up on this found the same. I'm looking for a safari type top. These folks need to get with the program. The side airbags aren't going away and neither is the Gladiator.
My 24 was doing this shortly after delivery, but not every time. Dealer reflashed the TCM and fixed it. I would insist they try this if they haven't already. The 3-4 burp is also a common issue with no fix at this time.
