There are lots of folks “jumping” into something else because pricing has yet to be released. It will in no way impact the sales expectations for this vehicle if you do or don’t buy. Lots of folks saying Jeep is silly and will lose customers, blah blah blah.
If your in the market now then...
If you want the JT you will pay the premium, nuff said. FCA only planned to build 75K yearly...The Taco punches out over 200K per year. With the JT's limited configurations (only 4 doors, short bed, etc), the only truck to offer complete open air, and the Jeep status, there will be a high...
This is exactly how far the series has moved. The Gladiator would have never fit into the “original” FF style. Hah.
But regardless, I’ll be more than happy to see it in the upcoming movie.
BTW: I did pull the trigger on a car I saw after watching a movie. At the time I was young and dumb but...
I had a horrible nightmare that this is what the JT pricing looked like. Thank god I woke up and it was only a dream!! Maybe it won't be far off...:puke: ... But lets hope it is way off!!
Ram 1500 2019 was released similar to JT. Prices for it were not released until 1st week of March 2018. Trucks didn't hit dealer lots until end of 2nd Quarter (June). I greatly believe this will be the same for the JT. So, hang in there for a couple more weeks! :)
I’m definitely awaiting the price. But my local dealer has a couple Ram 1500’s with the exact options I want (5.7L, Black Appearance, LED package, level 2 package, panoramic roof, blind spot). Could I get away with a Sport S JT for around the same $42K?
I agree. Not to mention the same vehicle allowing you to seat up to 5, able to drive on the street and off-road, remove the top-doors-lower hood. I will need to haul some dirt/mulch for the yearly yard work, some 2x4's for fencing or some structure I wanna build, and some drywall for the...
Great. The movie isn't released until August 2nd. No pricing until then!!
Just kidding. I know June release to dealerships and pricing probably March. Just thought it was funny to tie the price release of an very highly anticipated vehicle with the release of a movie that its in. LOL.
It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t fit in the right side of the gas fill bump. The plywood will butt up to the face of that spot and be flat all the way onto the tailgate. I don’t see the plywood touching the back of the truck bed (against the passenger cabin) because the bump is there. It just...
LOL. Give me a break. There are plenty of buyers who would want to have that ability even if they never do haul plywood. I’d like to see how many people fit plywood driving around full size trucks. Many of these vehicles have become suburban and lifestyle trucks.
The JT will be fine hauling...
Yes, this tailgate. Just wait until you hear it rattling....The need to ensure the tailgate seals in all of those positions was a challenge. Let alone NVH testing was a bear. I’m certain it will be a great option and functionally it makes sense.
I truly believe this will be a high priced buy. Of course there are options out there but FCA already said the JT will be a small volume sales vehicle (75K units). Ford is doing over 100K units this year, Tacoma over 200K, etc...So open up the pocket book if you’re planning to get one of these...
I am definitely anxious for pricing. Hiwever, I don’t think they are worried about losing people or people moving on. It’s gonna sell regardless if you move on or if I do.
