It doesnt look like anyone has the comprehensive nut and bolt inventory you desire to build a custom 'only possibly needed' toolset.
I carry this one and it has not let me down.
I stopped at a Chevron tonight for my first tank of diesel on my brand new JTR. All they had was something called B20 Biodiesel. It stopped me dead in my tracks and I said to my self "wait a minute". Opening my handy dandy owners manual I quickly found B20 is 'okay' but will shorten time between...
Yup, that's a good idea. I ended up using the fog light switch/harness for the LP6 DRL (backlight) and AUX 3 (15A) for the two LP6 high beam circuits (13A).
Same issue, I wired a Baja Designs LP6 (6.5A) to an existing LED fog light circuit and thought it would be fine since it has a 40A fuse. But no, the LP6 flickered and the circuit shut down.
Maybe use a Tazer to set the circuit to incandescent? Sounds like an expensive cure.
Bought these for a clean install.
Longer wires needed.
Had to fab another bracket for the remote socket from some scrap.
Turned out pretty clean. My son called it a 'sleeper' winch since its not big, bold, and gaudy like the Warn Power Plant we had blocking airflow to our JKU.
Works...
Installing a Warn VR EVO 12S and a Genright Aluminum Stubby I wanted to do a control pack relocation for a clean look and unobstructed airflow but warn does not yet offer a kit so I made my own. The control pack itself was easy to take off but to large to mount anywhere reasonable near the...
Wow, lots of Norcals on here! I am south of Sacramento, just sold my JKU and got this baby. Avid overlander that frequents the Sierra's and the deserts of SoCal/NV.
Crazy stuff, they have no problem trying to straighten frames these days, low tolerance spec also. We had a rear ended Grand Cherokee that buckled like a peeing cat and they tried to fix it at $26k in repairs. Months of taking it back for door jams, paint runs, paint mismatch, pain in the ass...
What is that loud humming noise from the engine bay after I shut off the engine? (Almost sounds like a fan but its not)
Sometimes if I just turn the ignition on and off in the garage, it is followed by a repetitive click/clock solenoid type sound from the underbody? (Almost sounds like a time...
Depends on the bank you dont want to brake, but if you want to make it 'jeep camping' on the cheap get a truck bed tent.

Ordering a diesel rubicon. I realize 35s can fit stock. My question is does the diesel rubi with 35s and fully loaded (bumpers, cap, RTT, winch, etc) stay in top gear on the freeway at 75 mph or does it have to downshift to go over overpasses, etc?
