Kept the Gladiator, and ended up getting a used 2018 Ram Long Horn 4x4. It rolled over 51,000 on the way home. Very well kept, nice truck. Was a local one owner trade in. Now, I feel I have the best of both worlds. It’s a trim level lower than the one I traded for the Jeep, but the wife and I...
I’ve got several 12v power supplies in my work shop. I’ve got one with an old Craig car stereo hooked up, with Arkay car speakers for sound. Real old stuff. Having a cd player isn’t a must, as I already have a stick, and use Bluetooth for my play list. I mainly am wanting something to make use...
yeah, I hadn’t looked at Crutchfield yet. I know there’s stand alones that will work through the usb, or auxiliary port. I remember someone quite a while back installing one, but didn’t see anything doing a search.
I can’t seem to find it, (probably impatience), but I’m trying to see who has installed a cd player, in the console. Kind of like Ram did into about 2019. I miss having one. I’ve had the “Hemi Itch” here lately, and also wanting more room. I miss the room, and power of my 2017 Big Horn I traded...
My driveline was clicking and popping last June. I wasn’t sure if it was the diff, a joint, or the driveshaft support bearing. They kept it a week, and replaced the rear diff under warranty. First, they tried to tell me it was because of the “big tires”, and the lift. I informed the service...
It could very well be the drag link. As far as the damper goes, mine (Jeep/Fox) went south at about 20,000 miles. I replaced it with a bilstein, gas shock. I like it a lot better.
Back in about 2012-2015, when BMW was pushing the hybrid X6, they had a similar hood, with a raised center. Something about the clearance on a hybrid. When the hybrids didn’t sell as expected, we had a surplus of those hoods. They started offering them as a “performance”hood on the X6M’s.
I remember back in the 80’s, I was building my Triumph Bonneville engine. 2 in the morning, ready to prime the oil pump and fire it up. Got some strange looks buying a small jar of Vaseline at the local 7-11 at that early hour…….
Well, we made it! Paddle tires work as well in water as they do sand. Problem is, we averaged 3 1/2 mpg, so we had to piggyback a tanker to make it. Ready to head back home. Too expensive, and we can’t camp on the beach. $27 for a burger and a coke, (each), is just too much. Headed back...
Update: The Vet called this evening with the biopsy results. He said it was cancerous, and suggested blood tests to see if it has spread. He gave us some options, including amputation, but said even then he couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t spread, if it hadn’t already. She’s close to 14, so, at...
I appreciate the responses, very much. They were able to remove all of the tumour, with very little skin left to sew together. 3 stitches, and we are still having to treat it as an open wound. If it heals right, she should be ok. It all depends on how it heals, and if the tumour comes back. The...
So sorry to hear about your other fur buddy. My chihuahua I mentioned earlier, goes in for surgery tomorrow morning, for a tumour on her leg. (Literally had it checked the day after my post). She’s had 2 wellness checks in 2 years, and nobody seemed concerned, until she licked it raw, and we...
