I put my banks on Turbine inlet temp (TIT). Reads the same as EGT1 in fact I think its using the egt probe to formulate the turbo inlet temp.
I have seen 1550 for a split second with a banks derringer that is brutal. It immediately cuts back to 1300-1400.

Pretty sure the platinum does have additives to try to prevent crystalization. Eitherway keeping the tank as full as possible and using your vehicle will prevent problems. Def really cannot sit long term especially in a hot fuel tank on a jeep.
