I might have exaggerated the “a lot of pressure” part, but it is touching the airbox. I’m not worried about it causing problems, but it made me think I was doing something wrong when I did the install.
I don’t think I would have had as much trouble adjusting if my driver light would have had...
Got sidetracked and never made it in to get the socket. My lights are aligned well but I’m aimed a bit lower than I would like right now because my driver is at the limit of the up adjustment. The passenger has a lot of room to move. I don’t think the adjuster screw is disconnected or anything...
I’m struggling to get my driver side as high as I would like. It seems like the adjustment for that light is way different than the passenger side. I need to pull them out again and try re-aiming.
From what I read it is for the proximity feature that turns on the lights when you approach. It isn’t terrible, I just used a dermal to make a small hole.

Got them adjusted better using the measurement directions on the site and by comparing to my wife’s JLUR OEM LEDs now. I had to take the driver side to the max up adjustment while the passenger still has a lot of room left.

Just tested them out and really need to readjust because they are aimed too low. Looks like I’ll be making something to adjust them inside or pop them back out again.
I installed a set of Installed DiodeDynamics Elite Max today. They look awesome but that install was a lot harder than expected. That being said, I’m glad I didn’t know or I would have gone OEM LED and these are way better.

Installing Elite Max on my 2023 JTR tomorrow. From what I’m reading here, the fuse tap is only required if you want your DRLs to light up before the engine starts correct? I’ll wire up the off-road wire to my factory switches.
I'm debating not connecting it.

1) Have the updated heated lenses been released?
2) Has the wiring harness been updated to use the newer connector that includes the halo in the wiring harness so you don't need to run a fuse tap?
Another vote for CMM in the lower position. My only complaint is that I wish they made a larger mirror. I might try replacing the mirror but keeping the arm and mount.
I have it on my wife's JLUR and love it but didn't get it on my JTR. I bought mine new off the lot and had to prioritize features I wanted. The transfer case with Auto 4H was a higher priority than Adaptive Cruise or LEDs and I couldn't find one near me with all of them.

I installed the passenger side, probably could have just taken the mat out, but decided to just cut off the passenger side tray so I could have the rest covered. The Bulletpoint is awesome, so I might reinstall it eventually for another device, but I prefer my phone a bit lower.
