I have the Mopar CAI, a ported and half shaft throttle body (Fastman), and Corsa exhaust. I like a little noise. I'm a manual transmission guy and like a little audio feed back. I would not do it if I had a auto. Just my opinion.
I try not to leave stuff hanging off my Jeep, that said I do have some sand ladders BOLTED down on top of my GFC camper. If I need them it's a pain to remove but it's a pain for a theif. I try to keep everything locked inside, and out of sight. I've been ripped more times at a trail head or or...
You may have something. There's no bashing soft top vs hard top, leather vs cloth, bluetooth radio vs no bluetooth radio, green vs gray. You mention a clutch or a manual transmission and then let the bashing begin. It's hilarious.
I have a Viofo A119 V3, it's reasonably priced and had some good reviews. Hard wired it to a Aux switch (used their kit), was a simple installation, clean with no exposed wire. My first dash cam so I didn't know what features I would like, this unit is pretty basic. So far so good.
Also had the recall done and the gear indicator showed up, couldn't find a setting to remove it, oh well. I know what gear I'm in, I put it there. Might be useful for someone learning a manual. What's interesting is the sensors needed to display what gear your manual transmission is in already...
I'll make sure to get some shots of the panel/window set up. I like the tent material seems tough enough. There is a lot of complaining the bed is to hard, I like a hard mattress so I'm good, but that is a issue for many. It's tight, the first model the tent snapped in, the new model (like mine)...
I'll get some pics posted tomorrow. The rear door and front panel is the same thickness as the sides (now that I think about it) and has the window option so I bet you can find something for the sides that would work. I'll set it up tomorrow and take some pictures, anything particular you want...
I have a Mojave with a Go Fast Camper, satisfied with it. Picked up the GFC Memorial Day weekend and have put some quality time in it, haven't had any problems. I removed the rear seat and have some rotomolded containers, backpack, duffle bag, storage stuff in the back. It squats a little bit so...
What springs did you get? What does your AluCab weigh? My GFC is #250. How is it with just the springs? Just springs would be the way to go for someone like me with a fixed load weight and no/minimum towing.
I have a Mojave that I installed a Go Fast Camper on. It has a little squat so I put in the Sumo Spring things that go between the coils, it still has a tad of squat, I'm the only one that notices it. I'm planning on bagging it. There was a video I saw and some dudes said the Firestone were...
