What is the "correct" piece(s) to be in the 4X8 sheet mode? I've seen two 2X4's stacked and also what appears to be a 2X6 but might have been a 2X8 I wasn't paying close attention. Although a 2X6 or two 2X4's stacked would both probably work fine for hauling 4X8 sheets, witch one gives the...
This is not what you're looking for but it would be cool as all get out. Has a 3/8-16 bolt on the back so you would have to get creative mounting it. But hey, how cool is that?
Oh yeah, old school cool.
I think it's a brilliant move for Ford. 20k and 40mpg alone will get some interest, and it's a truck (kinda) to boot. Definitely a market for city and suburban dwellers and commuters who occasionally haul a sack of potting mix or can of gas. I like it for what it is. Actually this is probably...
8000 miles on mine and no tranny problems. Haven't heard Of very many problems with the manual transmission itself. What tires and gear ratio? What kind of driving are you doing? Big loads? I don't know seems strange the same thing happened twice, hopefully this is the last time, I'm bet it will be.
I never gave it much thought until now. Made me wonder what the 0-60 difference between 2 HI and 4 HI would be. I have a manual transmission so with the human element involved prob won't get consistent results. Would be interesting to see how big the spread is for no reason other than why not.
I enjoy driving. I like a manual transmission and might row through the gears kinda quick to get up to speed, I just dig it. Other than that I'm very chill. A friend of mine who is absolutely a maniac driver gave me a hard time once. He said "you drive like a old man", my reply was, "I am an old...
I have ran several tanks and did notice a slight increase in mpg, guessing 5-7%, didn't keep any kind of notes. Ran fine, it was 93 octane. Unfortunately near me it just hit astronomical prices.
Man, I apologise. I do appreciate the vision and effort of the truck you're looking at. I'm just boring and have more of a utility look at things instead of a fashion aspect. The great thing about JT is there is room for every taste and a endless aftermarket of do-dads. It's always cool to see...
Any drivetrain or suspension mods? Just from what you said and the pic, it looks like a 10 gallon hat and no cattle. You can get a base model for a lot less new and put your own goofy grill and hood on it.
I have Gaia Premium on a 256 gig iPad mini (cell so it has gps built-in). Small learning curve, not bad at all. I've downloaded all kinds of stuff. Like MattK above I give it a thumbs up also. Garmin used to be the leader but have fizzled out in my opinion. The Gaia Premium with the overlays...
