  1. Keyfob failure - Interesting information to get you ‘started’

This may have already been posted somewhere…but it’s worth a re-post. Poking around the internet, as usual….I stumbled across a couple videos. I did some searching and found a Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator video. If your key fob is dead or damaged…how you can start your vehicle. Below is the...
  2. Recommendations for door sill plates

I third the Rugged Ridge…….. bought off Amazon.
  3. Well, we have TPMS for our Gladiators so, what about the trailer?

🤪 Well, I’d rather spend the $$ on useful tools (such as - trailer TPMS sensors) than some other ā€˜safety nanny’ feature cuz people are too damn lazy (or stupid) to do it themselves. But, that’s the world we live in….
  4. Gun guys (and gals)

My husband, had a Dillon 550. He recently upgraded to a 750 with brass & bullet feeders. I think I remember him saying, he can relaod 800 rounds in an hour. šŸ˜‰ Since I help blast off half of that….. I keep his primer tubes filled, I perform the plunk test on all the rounds, put them in ammo...
  5. Well, we have TPMS for our Gladiators so, what about the trailer?

I never implied that I was comparing anything…..or referring to JT’s in general. I had originally mentioned MOPAR should have it…… which covers a lot of things. The simple fact that…. ā€œIt can be done.….. And for any fullsize truck and especially the HD models everywhere, it SHOULD be doneā€...
  6. Well, we have TPMS for our Gladiators so, what about the trailer?

Hmmmm, as I said……. NEVER SAY NEVER It can be done.….. And for any fullsize truck and especially the HD models everywhere, it SHOULD be done. Guaranteed…. If Ford has that technology, all the others know it exists and choose not to use it (yet). Kudos to Ford for coming up with it first...
  7. Well, we have TPMS for our Gladiators so, what about the trailer?

Never say it can’t be done…. How do these aftermarket TPMS systems work? If the ā€˜control box’ is located in the cab of your vehicle…….. then, they’ve certainly figured out how to pickup the sensors on the trailer.
  8. Well, we have TPMS for our Gladiators so, what about the trailer?

It’s a great idea…… but for anyone shopping, there are many other aftermarket TPMS sensors out there. Make sure you get the best for your needs/expectations. Does Mopar make something like this as an ā€˜add-on’ to the OEM setup/computer? If they don’t…they should. Buy the sensors….plugā€˜m...
  9. 35s on Mojave with stock wheels.

    I’d stick with a similar width …. Say for instance… 35 x 11.50 (Wildpeak makes a 35x11.5).
  10. When do you replace the rear driveshaft?

🤣. Ok….so, the Rzeppa / CV joint is the failure point …….
  11. When do you replace the rear driveshaft?

For what this is worth…. Because I have no JT driveshaft experience…. We had a built YJ that we upgraded to a Tom Woods drive shaft. The stock YJ driveshaft is as short as your forearm šŸ˜† and you need a longer shaft when you lift 4.5ā€ šŸ˜‰ We had to upgrade…..and upgraded the ujoints. Again… 2...
  12. DIY Starter replacement 2022 Mojave MT

And don’t you love it (Not!) when you research online on how to fix something (Youtube or whatever) and you’re in the middle of doing it and wonder… WHY THE HELL did they do it that way?? And of course, then there’s the videos that make it look so damn easy, but when you go to do it, it’s a...
  13. Wife Stole the Gladiator :)

I think my husband would be embarrassed walking next to me if I was wearing all that purple stuff (or pink or some other wild colors). šŸ˜† Ok…not really…but he’d give me the stink eye and roll his eyes. 🤣.
  14. DIY Starter replacement 2022 Mojave MT

Damn….I’m glad I have the coin to support the local economy (auto shop). Only 2 years old?? That’s a little disturbing. 😳 I remember a time back in college……. I was living on campus. This was back in 1989 or so. I changed the starter in the dorm parking lot on a 1984 Plymouth Horizon with a...
  15. Wife Stole the Gladiator :)

I owned 2 of them…. 96 and 2007. The 96 was badass….that’s what got me started in offroading. The 2007….never let me down, although…. in 2016, the frame was replaced (frame rust warranty). After being totally torn apart, it was never the same after that. Lots of clunks, rattles, found...
  16. Wife Stole the Gladiator :)

It must be serious….if you let her steal it….. .šŸ˜† Sheā€˜s taking it in exchange for something that’s much smaller that fits around her finger. Just sayinā€¦ā€¦šŸ˜‰
  17. Wife Stole the Gladiator :)

I’m not a purple person….but that Green would grow on me. Nice!!!
  18. Wife Stole the Gladiator :)

I can’t complain about how it performed…. Going up hills in the Tennessee mountains, it’d struggle to keep the engine cooled. That needle would run up into the red. Going downhills…was a bit of a white knuckle experience. We had a Prodigy brake controller that we could hit the trailer brakes...
  19. Wife Stole the Gladiator :)

We towed with the WJ for a several years…. 6,500 lbs. It did OK…. but not ideal, even with the V8. Sold it to my mother-n-law and bought a 2003 Dodge Ram. The Ram made it effortless…. After about 12 years or so, clubs fell apart, people move on… We sold the YJ, the trailer, and traded the...
  20. Wife Stole the Gladiator :)

I remember we bought a 1999 Grand Cherokee Limited w/ 4.7L in it…. It was 3 years old when we bought it (2001). That thing was like driving on the clouds, it was so comfy. We bought it to tow the YJ around….. that was my hubby’s daily. I think I was still driving an old 96 Tacoma with stiff...
