    Did anyone notice that the fuel pump makes a buzzing sound after you turn the engine off? I’m not sure if the old pump did this too and I just never noticed. Is this normal?

    The dealership took my car back again and replaced the pump in 1 day. Now it definitely looks like a new pump.

    The service advisor said that they have to send the old part back to Jeep and they can’t close the recall until they do that. So Jeep has some kind of tracking system for this. I wonder if they would’ve contacted me eventually to let me know that they screwed up.

    If you google the actual pump, it looks like this: It looks like the pump is partially visible under that cover with the QR code, and it looks like it’s dirty, like it’s the old pump. Like they didn’t replace it.

    Just got my fuel pump recall fixed. Is the fuel pump visible when you open the hood? I’m trying to see exactly what they replaced, but I don’t see any brand new, clean parts on my engine. Does anyone have a picture of where it’s located?

    Yeah all the hardware seems to be working. I’m thinking it’s a software issue. I will try to reset it with the battery disconnect method.

    I’ve never removed my doors either. I haven’t done anything to the Jeep recently. This problem just appeared out of nowhere.
