This is mine on 35x10.50x17 Kenda Klever RTs. They're very very close in size to the 255/85s. I love them. I've heard great things about those Baja Bosses too though.
I'm also interested to hear feedback on this. It seems like a really cool middle ground between a fiberglass or aluminum top and a Softopper. I like that it has rings and enough capacity to put Kayaks or something along those lines on top.

Reviving this thread!
I just ordered 5 of these from Wal-Mart for ~237 a tire. Nowhere near as cheap as they used to be, but significantly cheaper than I've been seeing them lately. Seems like most everyone loves these tires, and raves about them in the snow despite them not being 3peak rated...
I know this thread is a month old, but does anyone else have an opinion on 5.38s? All the other opinions seemed to be about 5.13s vs 4.10s. Sure, 4.10s and 37s are fine, but 5.13s and 37s are much much better. If you don't believe me, well, my questions and opinions will seem dumb to you.
I'm...
I've read that kind of thing a few times about the Black Series campers. I've been eyeing MDC and Opus primarily, but I don't know that I'll get anything. The wife wants a hardside trailer and I don't want that kind of weight. Maybe we'll end up with a Forest River or something.
This does look like a fantastic piece for the price, but I have one concern. I can't remember where my Rokbloks mud flaps attach back there, but it sure looks like it'd be the same holes. Is anyone running both these brackets and the mud flaps and can confirm they'll play nice? I'll go look at...
He had the manual trans. It's better than the manual in the Gladiator I'd guess. It's not limited to 4500 lbs towing. The 6 speed auto on the other hand...I'm glad they keep it around. It helps all the other awesome mid size trucks sell better because it's far and away the weakest link in that...
Thanks for sharing this. I just ordered it from here.
For anyone who orders one, here's the link to the rebate form. I also attached the PDF.

That makes sense. I'm looking at some of the super hardcore Aussie import trailers too. The truck would be the limiting factor on those well before the camper would be. Sounds like the situation would be reversed most of the time with a GeoPro or similar.
I second this. I do miss the Tow/Haul...
Awesome review.
I too have been very impressed with my Gladiator's towing performance. It definitely isn't a fullsize or a V8 powered rig, but I thought the stability was very good. I think towing is one place where the long wheelbase really helps.
How rough where the roads you were towing it...
I'm in the same boat. I haven't installed the t-case skid yet, but I'm about ready to call them up and tell them they can take it back and I'll order someone else's system. I like that theirs is available individually and that it's budget friendly, but these delays are getting ridiculous.
So, other than the silly dash insert color, how was the Taco? I've experienced them a little bit and know a LOT of people who have 3rd gens, but what's your opinion on it based on this brief drive?
It does look fantastic! I already have the SCX10 III Gladiator and now I'll have the 1/24 flavored one as well. If they come out with an SCX6 version my wife is going to be seriously annoyed.
