I'm sure there are other threads that have information about the diff skid options, but yes, you have an M210 front and M220 rear. All Gladiators come with them. Rubicons have lockers and other differences, but the differential size is identical in all. The M186 and M200 are JL axles that aren't...
I'm eyeing the Quadratec stuff because it doesn't require a lift and the price is reasonable.
It is 6mm thick, which is .236" so almost 1/4" thick.
The weight you're quoting seems high. They include their own steel crossmembers, so they're certainly not the lightest of the group, but those do...
This poster fits right in at SEMA. It's an interesting idea with subpar execution.
It would be funnier if it were written by someone who actually went to their junior high English classes. I still laughed, but it makes me wonder about their attention to detail on the products themselves.
If you ever run doorless, I'd look into these.

Can't wait to see pics of this installed. They also don't mention anywhere that some lift is required for clearance, but the most similar design (Artec) does require some. I also don't plan on lifting my Gladiator, but would like more protection than the stock skids provide, especially for the...
I've been looking at this same stuff and haven't been super thrilled with my options.
I really like the idea of the Mastertop with the back window and all, but the execution of the idea seems to need a little improvement. I found a very useful review of it with a video....
I love my Bestop...
Yes, I have the Original XL Rokblokz and Rock Hard sliders. They don't interfere with each other at all. I got my flairs without the cutout for the factory rails FYI.
I mounted mine on the plastic panel in front of my knees under the steering wheel. I can reach it without looking down in case I need to manually apply brakes while driving, and it's out of the way when I'm not towing. Right now just the bracket is there and the controller is in the glovebox.
Ya, they're for running truly doorless. Seems like a lot of tube doors have a bolt-on mirror option already. I'm thinking I'll probably get them this summer, but I'll have to see how much I run doorless before I drop over $200 on these.
It's all free to watch, or at least it has been in years past. I assume this year is the same. Head to the link in the first post and stream it for free on Livestream all week. It's the coolest motorsports event in the world.
I'll definitely watch as much as possible. I don't follow any particular teams usually. I know a few guys who used to run, but all of them have sold their rigs in the last couple years. One of these years I want to make the trip to see it in person. I love watching the stock class rigs in EMC...
I haven't seen M.O.R.E. mentioned in this thread, but they offer a system that can be bought piece by piece.

So far I know of the following options...anyone know of any that I'm missing?
Rubicon Express
M.O.R.E
Artec
Rockhard
Motobilt...
I know this is an old (ish) thread, but I found these and thought I'd share. I'll probably pick these up for the summer. Being able to use stock mirrors also means I'll still be able to attach my extensions if I want to tow doorless...
