Nice maybe I will see you out there if I don't break the jeep in Moab. I will be there sometime between the 19 and 22. Still deciding on if I'm stopping by the grand canyon the 19 or 21st.
Yeah. I'm going to spend a day at the grand canyon then head down to Sedona for a day or two before hopping on 40 back to the east coast. so many cool things to see in the area that I feel like I'm missing out. I want to see the send account volcanoes and hit up meteor crater.
Dang must of touched a nerve there. Sorry.
But I disagree with you on the point of oil companies not being evil monsters. But that's a other topic Lol.
We had a fleet garage that would test the oil and only change it when needed. Some vehicles would go a long time without an oil change.
Of course oil companies and service centers are going to suggest you change your oil every 3 to 5 thousand miles. More money in their pocket.
I just saw a post on the gladiator Facebook group. A person is stranded in the middle of the Rubicon trail because their Diesel gladiator's exhaust filter is 100% full and the vehicle has gone into limp mode. I was really considering the diesel power plant but there is so much more that can go...
I wasn't able to get the heat shield to fit back on. Is that going to cause an issue?
Had to reinstall my shorter bolts until I can source some 75 mm ones.
I had the terraflex kit before I went with apex. They worked great, but the joint wore out fast in one side. Terraflex warrantied it no problem.
Also be prepared to do some grinding on the their driver mounting brackets. They bolt up to the axle where a weld is and most of them time will not...
I was out there today to. Dicky bell was definitely different than last time. Poor dude got run over by a family member on Daniel today after they lost control of the vehicle. Guy is fine but had to go to the hospital.
It's above my skill level and my tolerance for potential body damage is low.
Daniel is the hardest trail there. After the gatekeeper rock there is a tricky eroded climb. If you don't hit it right you can slide into the embankment.
Dicky bell is the badge of honor trail but it's not bad at all...
I'm nearby and planning to go this weekend. Let me know a day and time. I would be happy to show you around of I can.
Only trail I don't do is front side of Daniel.
