How are your ball joints? Have you tested to see if there is any play?

I got rid of mine to fit my 37" spare. I don't think it makes a difference having it or not. I rotate all 5 of my tires regularly and haven't seen any issues from heat.

I don't remember having to take it out during install. I have mine in, no interference whatsoever.
