I had the privilege of having my tail light busted out in a hail storm. I am trying to repair the damage until I get a new one in. (Luckily, I have the pieces). When I look at the Mopar parts site, itās listing about 25 different part numbers. I have a 2020 Overland, with plain black, non led...
Iād keep the X5, and the Gladiator. You have one of the best years for the X5. Take it from me, I built them for 20 years. The Bronco, in my opinion, wonāt be as good as the BMW, or the Gladiator, in longevity. Just my 2 cents.
Thank you. No pics of the engine handy. Iāll have to get a few. It has the stock 4 cylinder Go Devil in it. Top speed is around 45mph. Slow, but will go anywhere!
Iāve been fortunate. Never had anything stolen from my vehicles, or any vandalism. Although, my dad and I found a runaway girl sleeping in my old Studebaker truck one morning, when I was about 17. I have no clue who she was, but, it was wild. That was in the 70ās, when I lived in SoCal.
Hereās how I mounted mine. I have a multi light controller, so I just had to run the wires up to the under hood box. For the price, they give off decent light.
I threw some on my bumper, for when I have my top off. (My lights are on the back of the top). I have an led bar in the bumper, but wanted a little additional light. I like them for the price. Iāll try to get a couple of pics tomorrow.
You do not want any wax on the hood. The decal will not stick, at least, not for long. Ultimately you would be wasting your time and money. Make sure the hood is totally clean and wax free. It wonāt hurt to wax over it after itās had a week or so to set and dry.
After looking closer, and backing it off a bit, it does have a āconeā that is seated, beyond the grooves. I have never paid any attention to them, when rotating the tires, or just checking everything for tightness.
I never paid attention to mine, but thatās how mine sit. Mopar locks on Mopar rims. 10,000 miles and no issues, but, I would think they should seat like a normal lug nut.
Different plugs in different types of holes, depending on where it is, etc. I built BMW X3, 5, 6, and 7ās for the last 20 years. I suppose they could be used as such, but, Iām sure thatās not the original purpose.
Most of those ādrain plugsā, are just body plugs. They fill holes in the floor pan that are used to hold the parts in fixtures during manufacturing. They are put in after assembly to keep water out, not to be able to drain it from the inside.
