  1. Huge Discounts on 2023 Gladiators!

Well, not to be a Skeptical Scott, but what did you pay for yours?
  2. Katzkin leather installed in my 2023 Sport S

This is the plan for my Rubi when the stupid recalls get completed and I can bring it home. Dealer quoted me for a partner shop to do it at about the same price. I wanted to order it with the perforated leather, but this is definitely a better option. Looks great!
  3. Huge Discounts on 2023 Gladiators!

My deposit is on this one. Signed contract with shown price. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=661896693&clickType=myATCsavedcar
  4. Safety Recall 92A & Stop Sale for 6-Speed Manual 2022/2023 Gladiators & Wranglers

Great, so now even if the clutch recall is fixed, I still wont be able to pick it up. Even tho I'm getting it for a steal, I'm not even sure waiting on it is even worth it anymore :headbang:
  5. 2024 Jeep Gladiator debuts with new grille, interior, more options and upper trim levels

It's like they don't WANT us to buy it so it gets discontinued. Just a few more standard options that I didn't want in the first place. I am pretty disappointed in the axle options also, considering what's available for the JL.... yeah, now I'm really happy I didn't wait to put my order in and...
  6. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

Mine is still sitting at the dealer due to the "Stop Sale" order. Went to go see it a couple weeks ago for the first time. It's exactly what I wanted without custom ordering so I'm in for the long-haul, however it's getting harder with now actually needing a new vehicle as my current Jeep needs...
  7. Is the Gladiator losing interest with buyers?

Just wait until the federal government withholds state funding until the respective states cave to EV mandates. And if people think it won't happen, just reminisce on how seatbelts, drinking age and smoking age came to be ✌
  8. Is the Gladiator losing interest with buyers?

Not going to lie, I loved Boise when I visited for a few days. My wife lived in Nampa for a couple years as a teenager. I work on aircraft and a quick search showed mechanic jobs were countless; medical jobs (for the wife) were also paying much better. I joked that we should move up there; she...
  9. 5.7 showing as an option on E-Shop on jeep.com, Just a bad web design mistake???

I saw a custom 392 Gladiator at a dealership the other day. $139K I believe was the going price....
  10. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

Drove out to see mine in person for the first time today. 4 hours there, 30 minutes at the dealership and 4 hours back. As I said, been on the lot since February, so it's got some "lot rot", but nothing a detail won't fix. I'm so ready to take it home :crying: Mad respect for people that have...
  11. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

Well mine is built and sitting at the dealership. But I didnt order it. But I beleive someone had and got tired of waiting to take it home. And now, as the new buyer, they won't let me take it home since the recall is a "do not drive" order. The dealership is checking on a weekly basis, but last...
  12. Is an EV Gladiator Better Off-Road Than a Traditional Gas Jeep - Let's Find Out! [TFL]

I'm waiting on the aluminum production to belly up while they keep thinking it's the best option to reduce weight for EVs. It's 5 times more expensive than steel, more difficult to form (heat oxidation and cracking) and less corrosion resistant.... oh, and half the melting point on a car fire...
  13. Is an EV Gladiator Better Off-Road Than a Traditional Gas Jeep - Let's Find Out! [TFL]

Working as a firefighter and having first hand experience with EVs, I never saw a car burn to the ground the way my first EV fire did. We couldn't do anything about it but keep spraying. Oh and the foam is useless too. I'm pretty sure we used over double the water.... definitely not an ideal...
  14. Why Mojave?

I lived in NM for 5 years. If I was still out there and not climbing thru woodland rocky ORV parks, then a Mojave would have been the option for me. I used to love blasting thru the arroyos (dry sand creek/riverbeds) in my Ram 2500 Cummins at 45-50 mph. Yeah, it was a heavy recovery truck, but...
  15. My (Almost Mine) JT & Back Story

Thanks, yeah the Overland was going to be in my price range, but there was just something about the stance of it. I drove it, I parked it, I stared at it in a mall parking lot from a distance, I drove it again, I parked and stared at it again (I'm a creature of habit :CWL:) but I just couldn't...
  16. Saw this today... throwback "Comanche" Gladiator

They even got the wheel caps right
  17. Dealer can’t get battery

I'm all about spending a little more for less hassle, especially in regard to dealer visits.... I also second (or 32nd) going to Autozone and pucking one out myself. I don't like them for much else, but their battery supplier has been revered as the best in the industry. I just coughed up the...
  18. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

Can't pick mine up until September due to the clutch recall, but mods are already in the shopping cart. With my XK, there was no aftermarket support, but now I think I'll def be going full Jeep-tard on this :CWL:
  19. My (Almost Mine) JT & Back Story

Thank you! I'm more than ecstatic. The bad news is that I'll be spending money on both now. I'm buying it to also give my XK a break on the daily mileage. I know it's not a thoroughbred Jeep, but I love it. It's got all the bells and whistles (for what 2006 offered) and I just can't bring myself...
  20. My (Almost Mine) JT & Back Story

That's awesome! And thanks, it's only a 4 hour drive for me. I thought about doing a conjugal visit next weekend to go see it
