Nicely done. Yeah. That thing is really solid. And NO jam nuts. Huge smile for no jam nuts. Also Iām drinking and grilling, so huge smiles might be unrelated.
I got it out, but it wasnāt super easy. It wasnāt seized in the block. It was seized in the alternator. So heated it and got it out of the block carefully, then cut it and pulled it. Replaced the alternator and belt and the squeal is gone. Before and after sounds. :)
In addition, if youāre not prepared for a bit of a project, Iād skip the transmission. Iāve done it and itās very doable, but itās a very specific process to fill it, and it really needs two people to get it right. And a VERY large rectangular funnel to not get fluid everywhere during the pan drop.
You can definitely do both. For the transfer case, get a hand pump at least, to put fluid back in. Otherwise itās very easy.
For the diffs without bottom drains, donāt bother removing the fill plug initially. Just put a bucket under the diff, loosen all the bolts, but donāt remove, and gently...

Any time! Very glad you did it. I did it for a friends gladiator more recently as well. Iāve wheeled the crap out of it and havenāt had a single issue. I think this is the cleanest and strongest method. Not the easiest, but I think the best. Great work. Pictures?
