  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Nicely done. Yeah. That thing is really solid. And NO jam nuts. Huge smile for no jam nuts. Also I’m drinking and grilling, so huge smiles might be unrelated.
  2. Rockslide Engineering sliders/steps any good? How's the install?

I got it out, but it wasn’t super easy. It wasn’t seized in the block. It was seized in the alternator. So heated it and got it out of the block carefully, then cut it and pulled it. Replaced the alternator and belt and the squeal is gone. Before and after sounds. :)
  3. Front/Rear Diff Service - DIY

In addition, if you’re not prepared for a bit of a project, I’d skip the transmission. I’ve done it and it’s very doable, but it’s a very specific process to fill it, and it really needs two people to get it right. And a VERY large rectangular funnel to not get fluid everywhere during the pan drop.
  4. Front/Rear Diff Service - DIY

You can definitely do both. For the transfer case, get a hand pump at least, to put fluid back in. Otherwise it’s very easy. For the diffs without bottom drains, don’t bother removing the fill plug initially. Just put a bucket under the diff, loosen all the bolts, but don’t remove, and gently...

That stinger is crazy cool. Time for some endos.
  7. BedRug is Now Husky- Preorders for the New Guardian Comfort and Guardian Impact

I already reached out to @RealTruck an out this, but thought I’d share. I slept on it, and really want to get the impact material on the bottom. Since that’s not currently an option for the gladiator, combined with a full coverage bedrug, I’m going to figure it out custom. I’m ordering an impact...

It this is your best bet for a retrofit. https://www.boltlock.com/locks/lock-cylinder
  9. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I would doubt it, just because of the depth of the Oem key, compared to those 3/4ā€ long keys used in the latches.
  10. FAD Missing

Agreed. Lazy. They just decided to put a plate in, because it was cheaper than asking for a new part number. So dumb.
  11. FAD Missing

I can at least confirm with a friends ā€˜24 JTR, that is has the plate.
  12. ABS Speed Sensor Wire

It’ll be fine. I took them out and did them on the dining room table. Gettingnthet insulation off is the hardest part. The rest is just wiring.
  13. ABS Speed Sensor Wire

Any time! Very glad you did it. I did it for a friends gladiator more recently as well. I’ve wheeled the crap out of it and haven’t had a single issue. I think this is the cleanest and strongest method. Not the easiest, but I think the best. Great work. Pictures?
  14. FAD Missing

My concern is what do I do if I ever upgrade to aftermarket axles so I can get high pinion?
  15. BedRug is Now Husky- Preorders for the New Guardian Comfort and Guardian Impact

Thanks very much @RealTruck for spending time with me talking through my questions. And for helping me pre order a new bedrug for when the JT gets back from the body shop. No one wants to look at this. :) but I’m a crazy person, so might hang the carnage on the garage wall. A picture of a...
  16. FAD Missing

I have to say, it’s one thing that makes me hesitant about an axle upgrade. I’m not crazy about my front driveshaft rotating when it’s in 2wd.
  17. Rockslide Engineering sliders/steps any good? How's the install?

Haven’t gotten it out yet, but I’m being gentle. I haven’t gone to red hot though. Don’t want to start a fire.
  18. Rockslide Engineering sliders/steps any good? How's the install?

Arrived just now. Let’s see if that alternator bolt comes out of the block on the Willys.
