Looks like they are charging $695 for the steel hood now. This leads me to believe the aluminum hoods will start returning. A few Rubi Wranglers just produced have the aluminum hoods.

Same here. Payload is something a lot of people forget about. My F250 gas had a lot more payload capacity than my friend's F250 diesel because he added a bunch of option like panoramic roof, electric side steps, etc.

I agree. I have a Rubicon on order. If it arrives with the "optional" hood I will not take delivery. This would fall under "arrived with option not on customer build sheet".
