I went with the 19133 since they were out of the 19166 when I ordered. Figured for the price it was worth a try. I have a roll up cover that I wanted the tent to go over and I wanted to have plenty of overhang for water runoff. I think it's going to work well.
Here is what I did with a stock 7" non-amplified system. Definitely will play plenty loud with the tops and doors off:

I had planned on using self tapping screws to install those, but they basically snapped down in place and are a perfect wedge fit! It actually takes a decent amount of effort to get them to pop back out. Anyhow, it's temporary until I get something fabbed up to mount them along with the tweets...
The knee pods are fairly thin plastic, so changing from the puny low powered factory speakers in a ported configuration to these amplified 6.5" mid bass in a sealed set up has the potential to create a lot of excess vibration. The Kilmat helps to add mass to the sidewalls and mitigate some of...
This Focal 25A4 sub is 5" deep.
My sealed enclosure volume worked out to right around .9 cu. ft.
Hard to give specific measurements since there are a number of pockets and recesses to clear stuff along the back wall of the cab and to allow enough depth for the sub magnet. It is a fairly...
I completed my Focal system install and I have an extra set of the Focal Performance Access 165AS 2-way speakers left over. These are the same as what I used in my sound bar...
All I can say is it sounds great to me - way better than stock. These Focals handle power well and it cranks with the top off running down the road. As far as audiophile, I don't have any reference to judge. Have not done any tuning on it other than with my own ears, so I am sure there are...
Thanks - and nope, never. I'm just a long time DIY car guy who enjoys working with my hands and who would rather build than buy just about everything. Even built our house about 16 years ago (and still finishing parts of it - never ends!).
Also, finished up my stereo overhaul with a complete Focal/AudioControl system. Posted a bunch of pics in the Electronics forum:

Dash pods rebuild. Decided to try customizing the factory ones and it worked out fine. Fugly looking because I went overboard on trying to seal them up and then shot a quick coat of black over it. Reality is they are hidden behind the dash so you can't see them anyways. For anyone thinking of...
Sound bar rebuild. I did some initial mdf panels for test fitting and then refined the design and cleaned them up before wrapping them in vinyl. Pulled all of my wiring down the drivers side B pillar, under the carpet behind the drivers seat over to the console, and then to the back from there...
Finally completed a total overhaul of my non-amplified 7" U-Connect system and thought I'd share a bunch of pics and answer any questions about this process. Like many folks have done, I did the basic speaker swaps in the dash and sound bar (I went the Infinity route) and ran that for a few...
I went with the 3/4" foam board to clear that clamp and the fit is just right. No sun out here today to test the heat protection, but it has definitely quieted the cab noise and changed the sound of my Focal system for the better by dampening the harsher sounds that I was having to tune down...
Ha!
Hard to say since I already had some of the stuff left over from my audio project (write up coming soon).
4x8 EPS foam board around $13.
Super 77 spray adhesive around $10.
I want to say my vinyl from Katzkin was around $30/yrd, but you can get basic black vinyl for less than $10/yrd at big...
Finished installing my DIY headliner panels today that match my Katzkin seats. Did a little write-up on the process over in the DIY forum.

Want to keep the heat off the top of your head and turn the decibel level down inside the cab a notch or two at highway speeds, but also want a custom look? This is what I did for a DIY headliner solution.
x1 4x8 x 3/4" thick sheet of EPS insulated foam board (foil lined) - local big box...
