Well, that explains the 2021.5 rumors. The stated goal was to transition the full FCA lineup to UC5 by MY22. This buys them some time to still meet the goal. :(
So dealer meeting should have started by now? Who are our moles and who can start posting screenshots and confirmations of the things discussed in the 102 pages of this thread?
Talk to your CU and see if they'll extend the application without a re-pull if that's a concern. Long time membership, having your other finances there, and good credit will sometimes afford you exceptions to the rules. It is especially likely if you have your VIN already and can tell them you...
Multiple checks aren't going to change your score enough to impact the rate, especially if all of the pulls are within a 10-14 day period. Plus, if your score is excellent even a multi pull hit stretched out beyond the 10-14 day period will not drop you enough to impact rate. Rate impact score...
The biggest draw is the addition of wireless CarPlay. I don't really care much for the UI that most car companies develop but like the ability to do away with wires on my dash.
The potential of getting Uconnect 5 is one of the reasons I was okay waiting for 2022 as well. It isn't a must have for me but it is an added convenience that I'd really love to have. I don't like untucked wires.
Fortunately we don't need a 3rd car until early 2022, when a kid gets his license...
Gladiator hasn’t been cancelled. As of the October 1 update the Gladiator is still listed. Of course it may change for the 2022 model year but it hasn’t dropped from the list yet. The Wrangler did though.
I just checked the updated FCA Affiliates discount list as of October 1, 2021. Gladiator is still listed but Wrangler is not.
This is visible on the vehicles page once you login on FCAAffiliates.com
Check out the Jeep CrewChief concept. There is a thread here somewhere that has some of the equipment listed. Included in the thread is a reference to the wheels and tires used for the concept. Apologies for not being able to find it... I'm up against a meeting but I'll give it some time later...
I just logged into the FCAUSAaffiliates.com site and there is nothing about Wrangler and Gladiator getting dropped on the site. But my access is because of affiliation through a supplier rather than a club (i.e. Tread Lightly) so it is possible TL is going away while FCA parts suppliers still...
I don't think we'll get that kind of warning. The Grand Cherokee is an all new platform so they're trying to play up the launch. JT will be quiet in my humble opinion.
Well, it’ll obviously fit. I’d probably pull in tighter on the right to give yourself more space to climb out on the left. Doors off will make getting in and out a ton easier too.
We will be adding a GC L to our family but we decided we wanted to wait until mid 2022 specifically so first run and first design issues can get worked out.
Hopefully the issues you are having will be fairly simple to resolve.
I am a fan of basic Jeep buys because these things are Lego sets. All you need is a solid foundation and for just about everything you can imagine there is an aftermarket or fabricators solution.
I'd look at things you'd likely want but probably wouldn't make sense in the aftermarket... door...
I want lockable rear storage as well but I am leaning toward 813's molle basket for the rear seat. I think it is a bit more flexible for what I'd want back there.
Definitely will follow your build. Looks good on those wheels.
Just for clarity, Just the springs swapped out? You left all else the same? Any feedback on how it rides and feels versus the change out. Do you lose much of what makes the Mojave awesome?
Questions for those of you who run a bit more weight in your Mojave bed.
@DesertRunner @RYSlimVegas19 @sandifer @Mtpisgah @MarcusB @Berserker556
How do you feel the Mojave trim handles the weight in back?
Do you end up with much sag when you're loaded up and everything is strapped to the...
