I just finished my Towing test via shifting manually and it towed like a dream.
At 65 the RPMs are around 2300 and at 70 right around 2500 at gear 7. Thank y'all for all your help!!!
May try this as part of my next test but don't want to chance a ticket. I'm in a rural area but lots of DPS around here looking for speeders.
I don't necessarily want it below 2500. I have been towing trailers and boats (large pontoon) for the last 10 years and just never had RPMs hit that high...
Mine is small compare to a 8-9ft trailer....a little less than 7ft tall and about as wide as the Jeep. When I tow it with our other SUV that is a little taller than the Jeep, the RPMs are about 2200 and I can't even tell I'm towing but I also have more hp & torque.
I have a fairly small and lightweight camping trailer that is only about 1900 lbs.
When I did a few test runs the RPMs shot up to 4k+ on a flat and straight road with virtually no wind going 60-65. It was struggling just to get to 65.
I went to Trail Recon Summit #4 (without my trailer) and...
Hello all, I am not good at wiring and needed some advice.
I am looking at Diode Dynamic SSC2 lights for ditch lights.

How do I wire this to Aux 3 or 4 (15 amp) wires? In the popular KC lights...
Your title has "rails" but the pic doesn't.
Are you selling the rail system? If so I am interested.

I bought a 2024 left over also early in the year. It's a Rubicon with about 2300 miles now. We average 16-17mpg on highway so far. Ours idles smooth so you may want that checked out. We went offroading yesterday and lightly scraped going over a big hump as we were breaking over. I want 35s that...
Now that summer is here I use a Ecoflow Delta 3 Plus (only 27 lbs) sitting on the rear floor and a Massimo fridge/freezer combo in the backseat for grocery runs and running it while I run several more errands. I was out for 2.5 hours yesterday and the Ecoflow only went down 10 or 11%.
That's a great deal. I bought them during the sale and really like them. I could have bought other side steps for cheaper and removed my rock rails but I didn't want more car parts stacked in my garage.
I just got a 2024 Rubicon and loving it so far. This is not my first jeep, but it had been a while. I was not looking for the Rubicon trim, but with the huge discount on a 2024 I couldn't pass it up! I bought it for just a little more than the 2025 Nighthawk trim that I was originally looking...
