22K on a launch edition Rubicon, zero issues although its always drifted right. Iāll go in for a steering box when they start showing up in the service centers. BTW, 155K on a JKR and 130K on a JKU, still have the JK! Had to replace a fuel pump in the JKU (warranty) and the oil pump in the JK at...
Far East Mesa reporting in. Traded the wifeās built 16 JKU for this absolutely loaded LE. Sheās wanted a Gladiator since they were Brutes. It parks next to our 13 JK. The build has begun
Installed the N-Fab steps today, not the greatest fit. The company said they would do āsomething ā for me. Pax side wasnāt too bad but the drivers side forward mount was about 15 degrees off, had to perform surgery to get the pinch weld seams to line up. Iāll post pics when itās daylight
My 78 CJ7 with a 360 auto trans averaged 10 MPG. Drove it every day, 80 miles round trip. Worth every penny!
Adding 35ās with 4.10 gears I knew Iād take a MPG hit. Average 15.4 combined city hiway. Gets worse above 70, luckily the speed limits are 65/75, to keep gas in my tank ?
N-Fab RT rails with steps. My wife says that first step is a dooozie! Weāre on 35ās with a level now but, like her JKU, weāre headed to 4ā, gears and 37ās.
As an aircraft mechanic, I read the owners manual. Brought it inside the night we brought her home. Way too much stuff going on to not read up on it all!
Waited 2 months for the Diver Down seat covers. Hated covering up the leather but scratched up leather is worse. Steering wheel cover to keep the original in good shape.
good news is the seat heat and steering wheel heat still work as hot as ever! I give the covers 4 out of 5 *ās. I wanted...
My 78 CJ7. She had a built 360 with a TH400, D20 with Detroit locker and solid axle 4.10, power steering and brakes. Everything worked, even the windshield wiper washer. Sold it soon after I bought my ā13 Rubicon in ā17. That Jeep got more thumbs up and waves than anything Iāve ever owned. I...
I know the mid height rock hard hoop I added to our factory steel bumper allows you to see āaroundā it, you can see it. I felt the light bar would obstruct too much so I replaced it with small pods, just because there are mounting tabs on the hoop.
As said before, between the 2, Iād go Rubicon, have you test driven them? What the Mojave offers is great stock but I knew going in Iād want to lift and mod just as Iāve done my JKR and our JKU. The Rubi has good all around gearing and a decent tow rating. I added a Taser so now have sway bar...
I went a step farther, with a black JT and bed liner, I painted the 2x6 black and put curves on the lower corners so it fits across sitting on the raised bed channels. The 2x6 stays in all the time to create a grocery compartment since we have the bed cover.
After pulling the lower intake on my 13 Rubi, Iām putting baffled catch cans in both jeeps. It certainly doesnāt hurt Anything keeping that muck out of the engine. My lower runners and heads were coated in a black muck. After research, thinking I had serious engine problems, found itās normal at...
We went with the Flowmaster, the Y was the best design I saw, as said before, real trucks have split dual exhaust! It adds a little sound and bling much to Our liking.
Donāt know about the Mojave I have a Rubi but I added the Tazer as has been discussed, I can disengage the sway bar and lock the rear in 2 Hi with the push of a button. One of the main reasons I bought the Tazer.
Installed the Flowmaster dual exhaust.
very simple and straightforward. Only problem was the crap screws for the tip clamps. Wound up using AN -4 bolts after the first one snapped. Sound is throaty without being obnoxious (our JK has an obnoxious exhaust) no drone and if you like the look of a...
We got our JT a month ago, used LE
During the test drive I noticed a pull and a little wonder. I had already read about the TSB so I knew there was a solution. Itās not too bad so Iāll wait till Jeep has it figured out
