Mine programmed and works - but I question the wisdom of it only working when the ignition is on - somehow, closing myself u p in a garage with a running vehicle does not seem the safest of practices.

Huge waste of technology on a manual transmission truck. It only shuts down the engine if trans is in neutral and clutch is released. So far, waiting for a train is the only time it activated. Normal stop in traffic is in gear with c!utch depressed. But, i got it and paid for it.

Is there a simple way to cause the dash 12 volt outlet to remain not when the truck is turned off? Do not have aux switches. Want to operate "buddy brake" while flat towing the JT.
The louvers face the back so as long as you don't stop -no problem. Seriously, I drove a Datsun 280Z with open hood louvers for years in this Gulf Coast rain intensive area with no problems. We will see about the Gladiator.
