Evening y'all!
I am going to install the above product in the next day or two. The instructions are pretty general and I am somewhat anxious with wiring issues. Can anyone point me to a guide or lend me your knowledge to help out with the installation?
I will need to tap into the marker...
i appreciate the honesty and the candor!
In general, I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment.
this will likely be my last real toy car as I’ll prob have a kid in the next couple of years, but even now when I have a little spending money I can’t imagine spending 20k on axles for a jeep...
No regrets here ! I justified the price by reasoning that a clean Armorlite install will be worth more than a trashed factory interior. (And at some point I’m going to sell my carpet and mats)
I will say that I did the sound assassin matting at the same time as I installed the Armorlite andI...
I used diverdown for my gladiator. The seat covers fit pretty tightly, not much bunching or sliding about. They were a solid product and do what they should !
I’ve been in Arkansas (Little Rock area) for about 20 years, but I just got my JT about two months ago.
The hot springs off road park has some trails that are rated well, but for camping in the ozarks etc I’d say that there must be some good fire / logging road trails around the Buffalo...
Mostly I want a capable daily driver that I can do occasional off road parks and badge hunting with.
In a year or two (or three) I’d like to take an overland trip / camp but I’ll need to build to that both with tools and actual skill / knowledge.
Do you mind posting a pic with the 18s and your 35s?
I’ve got the stock 17s right now, and if I have to get a wider rim for new tires anyway may as well make sure I don’t want to go to 18s when I decide to pull that trigger.
Thanks so much for all the options. I’ve got this habit of looking at something and thinking of how to make it everything it could be in one go. Just got as big and overbuilt as possible at the get go and never worry about it again.
I think that the 37s is a good idea, and will probably be...
What are the relative advantages of the 17.18, and 20 inch rims?
Why does width matter so much
And how does the rim diameter impact the tires ultimate height ?
So I am considering trying to get 40’s under my 22 Willys.
Some light reading and researching tells me that pretty much requires Dana 60 ultimates, fender swap and a lift kit.
lifts are pricey but achievable. Fenders are a bit simpler (if still a lot of money) but how in the world can people...
I have a 2022 JT Willys. Looking at the data sheet today I saw that it has the m210 and the m220 axles.
I get those are different part numbers for the Dana 44, depending on if they are front or back.
What I’m confused about is when I look those parts up they say they are for the rubicon instead...
My JT is the only one I’ve been in, so I’m not sure if there is some other kind of locking version in other trim / options but the mats seemed to fit fine in the back, they just didn’t sit smooth enough on the carpet of the front seats for me.
I didn’t take any pics after install because I knew...
