Sheeeittt, my wife's 2016 Honda SUV has this feature, it should be a factory option.
It's something I appreciate every day. Coming home from work I have a merge lane from the freeway followed by changing 4 lanes over to the right. Since there is about 150' from the exit lane to the right turn...
My network admin bought a surplus'd company F150 with the 5L Coyote, 335K on it. 2014? Original shocks, among other things - but maintained by our truck shop. We were chatting at a remote office 70 miles from home, he's over 350K on it now and it still gets 19MPG. The interior is just old, not...
In CA, the CHP use "ejected" as code for "idiot wasn't wearing a seatbelt". Not saying that's the case here, but it's not a good look. Sad for everyone involved and their extended families.
Just found this thread, in April we did CA->NV->AZ-UT and back in five days, 1250 miles. St George is a really nice town, and UT is indescribably beautiful! I never gave NV credit for its wonderful natural qualities, before this trip - Valley of Fire blew my mind, even with the context of Zion...
I'm old, and I'm still too young to have been there for the "Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday" world of professional racing. I love reading about all the cheating that went on to "homologate" 250 examples of a "street car" for whatever racing series it was.
I will be highly interested and...
I keep getting invites for tech conferences in FL, two of our major vendors are based there. My wife keeps saying "are you out of your mind?" She spent a week there this Spring helping one of her aunt's move into assisted living in ATL, for context. Different strokes.
I don't exceed 65 towing our big trailer; we see the results of that going to the Central Coast, with brodozer debris from wrecked trailers and 80 MPH passing with toy haulers.
Different environment, but I wouldn't do 70 with our travel trailer, on trailer tires. The little Jeep trailer has...
How big of a travel trailer? We bought our M101 A3 from a fellow that upgraded to a Diesel Rubicon so he could tow a shiny new travel trailer his wife approved of. It looked similar in size to our 24', and I figure his Diesel will be a lot happier with 6,000 lb of trailer than our gas Rubicon...
In July we bought a converted M101 A3 one weekend and next weekend went on a 1400 mile trip up through Lassen NF/NP and back down into Stanislaus NF. Totally validated the "pack all our $hit in the trailer" theory, and it is small enough to park in the same side yard as our travel trailer.
Nice...
The binding is between the driveshafts, not the axles. The rpm for the front driveshaft is higher because the distance traveled is further.
4Hi should be used for low traction conditions, and if the rain isn't enough to slick things up, it's not low traction any more. It is a shift on the fly...
Last month I downloaded a bunch of maps for Lassen NF and OnX worked exactly as expected. I set my offline maps up with the web interface and then pull them into my Pixel 6 Pro and iPhone Max Pro. I have to set the iPhone to never turn off the screen, though.
I also have Gaia, horrible...
Fellow Jeeper at work has Al wheel well liners on his JKUR and I'll look tomorrow if he put them on his JTOD, I figured it was so he could have the cut-outs with slogans on them (not my cup of tea). If shredded liners happened to me I would be seriously pissed! We went through an >80 MPH...
