That would be a really stout upgrade! The D44's in the new gen JLR's and JT's are significantly stronger than the JKR's D44 axles, let alone the D30/D35 JK combination.
The logical disconnect is that oil usage is normal for a few thousand miles, but nothing special needs to be observed for the break-in. It IS breaking in, BUT there are no special limitations to be observed. The manual was written to minimize questions, not to explicate.
That's just hilarious, I missed your /s tag for sarcasm, but it's still funny.
Stupid people that write those break in guidelines for the owners' manual, hahhahahaah!
Wait all this Rancho diff skid stuff, the Metal Cloak options are excellent and barely more expensive (I couldn't believe it either).

This is a very valid point, especially the fundamental superiority of IFS vs SFA for daily use. If you understand the compromises required by an obsolete suspension design, it's actually impressive the Jeeps handle so well!
Likewise, given the fundamental limitations of IFS offroad, it's very...
It's one of my LEAST favorite things about the OHV areas that California curates. Outstanding public play areas undermined by thoughtless mooks with no manners.
Fortunately there is plenty of dispersed camping in the NF and BLM areas of CA, not as good as AZ but darned good.
I backpacked for...
CTD went on my forever shitlist in 2008, charging $100 for 50rds of WWB 380 ACP. I respect their right to profiteer and respond with a "NEVER AGAIN".
I do NOT understand that pricing from @AllMoparParts.com, they have been totally great to deal with. I'd hope there is a reasonable explanation?
The Rusty's LCA bracket skids are cheap and easy to install. Whamming the LCA mount on the frame is HIGHLY likely in the JT, just the nature of a long wheelbase.
A skid for the receiver hitch could be very helpful, as well. If you have one, that is.
You don't wrap at the stall? I've liked my results with briskets and butts with a paper wrap.
Have 20 lbs of beef and pork ribs to smoke today. Quick and easy compared to a long smoke like that! Looks delicious!
Just make sure your Jeep is tall enough, people can't see the scratches. I take my targa panels off all the time, still haven't had a big enough scrape or scratch to use this paint I bought.

A buddy of mine switched from leasing Lincolns to M-B ten years ago, his wife didn't like their Navigator so he switched them to a GL right before a long trip. Never looked back. She's happy, so he's happy, every two years the M-B dealer is happy.
However, HIS daily driver is a Dodge RAM, and...
I use manual mode all the time coming down the hill AND when I see a CHP and want to slow down without braking. It works exactly as I would expect it to having driven automatics and manuals for >35 years. Downshift manually, the engine RPM climbs to match the new gearing, vehicle slows due to...
Use your wheel chocks to adjust the arm position. Way too much trouble using a ratchet strap. Arm too far away? Push to the front, chock the rear of the rear wheel. Arm too close? Push to the back, chock the front of the wheel. Takes <30 min.
I think the B pillar tie-down position is goofy. The over-long straps are annoying. The wrinkly magnet part is irritating. 8 of 10 would definitely buy again.
TEN times better than the Spidershade on my YJ.
