Mine makes a similar noise every time I back up out of my driveway and go forward about 5 feet. It was there since day 1 but I'm not all that worried about it.
If you're going for heavier D load rated or higher tires I would go for the 4.88s. At 37s you have some lighter options but they're limited compared to the heavier duty tires.
They have to pay whoever makes their machine to update new model years into the computer. They could look up the specs in whatever website they use for repair information if they really wanted to. Just don't pay for a four wheel alignment because like Mac says in stock form its a toe set only.

I wash weekly and I've been happy with P&S Bead marker. It doesn't last longer than maybe 2-3 weeks but it also doesn't overhype how long it will last. Spray it on when you dry and you're done. Spray it on after dry and work it in like a spray wax if you want extra slickness. Plus its like 36$...
You might be okay... I don't think anyone could tell you 100% you're going to be fine. What you might feel is acceptable might not be for someone else.
You stated what NC4stroker said was not true when it 100% is. The technicians at the dealership can no longer just flip a setting in a second and send you on the way. Whether or not somebody thinks that the money spent is worth it is up to the owner.
