Destination charge changes from region to region. Yours probably from the Dallas Fort Worth area via rail then shipped. Either way, it should say on the sticker.
I would have probably tried to head out to Marble Falls this weekend, but I don't have a front drive shaft right now. The one I ordered was damaged in shipping.
I guess I'll give an update on a couple more small suspension parts I have on order, and why. The puck bumpstops that metalcloak...
Ah ok. Yeah, I was mostly just mentioning it in case you haven't made the change yet. I would have given you my 2 days worth of driving a grand total of like 50 miles opinion LOL
We're close PSI wise. I'm sitting at 27. Btw, what gears are you using w/ the 39s? I'm running 5.13s and almost think 5.38 would have been a tad better.
LOL my dealer said its a man made product so it's not going to be perfect. Aren't man made products usually more perfect than natural products? Think natural vs man made diamonds!
I feel like its sort of hit or miss if you purchase an FCA vehicle. Most of the some trim pieces may not be...
We threw mine on an RTI ramp to cycle the suspension a bit. 3 bump stops was barely clipping the fender near the signal light. 4 bump stops was the same, if not worst because of how it hits. Granted this was an extreme scenario.
You should be able to regear those up to 5.13 with the same carrier. You can also buy Rubicon axles used for a few thousand w/ lockers and sell yours to recoup some of the cost.
Yes. I've got some rattling near where the grab handle and top plastic trim piece meet. I visibly saw the misalignment though. The dealer ended up popping off the pieces, bent them back into shape and put them back on. Its not perfect, but it did help. I'll probably get another piece and...
Hey guys, the 219's are a bit too short. However if you are at full flex with the 221 it looks like the spring might fall out on the rear without limiting straps.
So yeah, the 221's should work, but just watch at full flex. 220 might be a better model.
Oh no! MetalCloak sent JL rear control arms instead of JT ones! They're sending the correct ones, but won't be in until Monday.
Double check your control arm boxes guys!
I think that's a smart move. You honestly should be able to off road with the stock rear shocks without a problem. Its probably only going to yield you another inch or two of down travel on the back with new shocks.
Are you sure? It looks like they use the body mounts + the factory tub mounts where the rock rails are mounted to. At least that's how their JL ones work.
On the Ace Engineering ones. You do loose a bit of break over angle if your Gladiator was at an angle. If you're going up and over a...
@ACE Engineering I put an order in for the Rock Sliders at the end of December. Any sort of ETA? I've been sort of looking at other products :) https://www.shrockworks.com/JJT-SL-pr-16305.html is local to me
