Been running the lighter spring for about a week now. I only had 2500 miles on my JT when I did the swap so my factory spring was still really fresh. So far I, prefer it over the factory spring. The most notable positive is at the very top and very bottom of the pedal stroke there is no...
When I am away from home I ask my wife to text me pictures of the JT in the garage so I can make sure its still okay. I don't know why she gets so mad I'm not asking how she and the kids are doing
also interested in know this part. i want to wire into my halos to activate halos on my hella celis lights on the bumper but i can't bear the idea of breaking into the wiring sheathing directly.
I got several quotes like that and slightly higher in my area as well as "we're too busy with tinting in the summer, call us in the winter". Just dropped it off in a smaller town 1 hour away and having it done for about $300 which I thought was fair for a pro job. I feel better already...
The exposure of the back of the fog lights and wiring on the Mopar steel bumper bothered me from the day I bought the JT. Why Jeep can afford to put a piece of plastic backing on the lower end plastic bumper but not on the supposed “upgraded” steel bumper is baffling. Anyway, this problem is...
Very nice looking results. Thanks for specifically measuring and noting the decibel difference. I've always been curious about that and haven't come across anyone post an actual before/after measure.
I always have to scream at my kids but I do feel like I have to scream louder at them in...
Definitely interested in hearing if money hits your bank account on this one. I don't think across any of this or the other threads on the matter we have confirmation yet of someone actually seeing payment of any kind for aftermarket solution.
thought I would post some before and after pics of the differece the mudflaps make on spray up on the body. On the rear , they basically keep the spray almost entirely off the body, still a little on the bumper. On the front, they lower the spray pattern enough to protect the front door...
I ended up being to chicken to do this myself. I'm better with wrench and hammer type stuff .
Having a shop install PPF on the whole front end next week. Will post pics when done for those interested.
I also ended up going WT mudflaps. They look more factory to me and do seem to be a more precise fit since you have to pick your trim level when you order them.
My JT is also the first brand new vehicle I purchased and I have terrible new car anxiety.
You may want to look into PPF (paint protection film).

Line-X if your using the JT as a truck. Bed Rug if your using the JT as a Jeep/SUV. Sounds like your use is better candidate for Bed Rug. I did Bed Rug and no regrets, my JT replaced a Grand Cherokee but I have a full size Chevrolet for truck stuff.
yup, only 1600 miles on mine and it idles up to about 1400 for a couple min even in mild temperatures. i am also a manual it is annoying if you have to take off somewhere quick,
If you want to go ultra budget while you decide on a long term investment I picked up a new Odero soft rollup cover from a reseller on ebay. Got the recommendation from another forum member to use the one marketed as the colorado cover as its the exact same size but cheaper than the one they...
