Anyone heard of or actually had success getting some reimbursement for aftermarket installs? I suspect once mopar has a "solution" they won't offer a reimbursement and I would frankly rather go halfsies on something quality than whatever they come up with for free.

Go for the manual, they probably won't offer them much longer. One of the main reasons I got a brand new one. There are always nuances with any vehicle you pick but I suspect you will be happy with the JT based on your diligence.
looks like nice quality work, bet you could start a side gig selling those. haven't seen anything like that on the market yet. Think I could screw a car seat into the top so I could get the storage and still have my 5 year old ride
nice set up @Edub . Where did you get those 2.5 inch tube clamps? I just ordered a Maximus hoop for my steel mopar bumper and want to mount lights on the top of the hoop instead of underneath.
This made a big difference for me as well once I adapted. Driven manuals for 25+ years (all trucks/suvs) and every one I have owned prior the shift point is at 2500-2600 RPMs. Once I consistently rolled up to 3000 the JT behaved better. All manuals are snow flakes to some degree. I'm just...
I was in a similar situation and bought my 2022 at end of February. Agree with what everyone said about picking your price before you walk in and stick to it (or try really har to :) ). I do think in person eventually helps. I got a reasonable OTD prices in writing via PDF sent in email...
I've owned a lot of black vehicles and in Georgia the heat is noticeably worse, so that's one admitted and definite downside in sunny states to black.
I'm a huge fan of painted fenders and top, more so on black cars than not. Eventually the unpainted fenders will lighten with age and get gray...
I've only got 1k miles on my JTR and I noticed it within days of owning it. Mostly in 2nd for me. I am pretty confident its the clutch as others have noted based on my prior history with dual mass fly wheel vehicles.
Less than 1K on my JTR and definitely feeling the need for these. Black shows everything and I like mine staying shiny. thanks for all the recommendations here. WTs do look a bit more "factory" to me so I will probably give those a try first.
