That's a BS opinion. Anyone with any trailering experience knows that you need a hitch with sway bars when towing a trailer that size to mitigate sway from cross winds, especially with a mid size truck. MT is just trying to be a turd in the punch bowl. GM or Ford probably paid them to publish...
I’m in Miami and ordered mine from new Smyrna beach Jeep dodge. 6% under invoice. There is a thread with the contact info for the GM. I think his name is Chase.
Have you guys installed and tested out these HD ball joint's yet? How are they holding up?
I'm going to upgrade to 39's in the very near future, along with ARB, 5.13s and RCV axles. I figure while I'm there, I might as well upgrade these stock ball joints since they are most likely going to...
I totally agree that it did ride much better than the stock Sport. I think it was a little on the soft side when stock and the Rubicon suspension took care of that.
I had the Rubicon suspension before I installed my RK lift. My front bumper and winch are very heavy and I used the Daystar 1.5" leveling kit and it was just about perfectly level. If you don't have a heavy bumper and winch like I do, it will probably take a 3/4" or 1" spacer in the front to...
I went with a Sport S Max Camel Toe over the Rubicon because I intend to off road it, which is the opposite of regular convention because I never had any intention of keeping it stock.
I did the math and considering that everything that comes with the Rubicon that I would be replacing anyway...
The gear sets ARE different between the Rubicon (and max tow package) axles and the regular Sport and Overland axles. The Rubi and MT have the AdvanTek axles which utilize a smaller 220mm ring gear, whereas the regular Sport and Overland have a 226mm ring gear.
I've been installing high end car stereo systems as a hobby since the mid-90's, and I didn't hesitate to check the Alpine speaker box when I ordered mine. I'm very happy with that decision. I completely agree with NC_Overland's statement that it sounds better than the premium HK systems that...
I love it. Ditching the rear track bar completely transforms the trucks manners. I’m going to Citrus next weekend and I can only imagine it’s off-road manners will be exponentially better as well. From a comfort/stiffness standpoint, driving it unloaded on the street I’d say it’s right in...
Does anyone know if there is a way to set the center cluster display to be on a specific item (i.e. speedometer or trip info) each time I start the car? Or revert to whatever item I had selected when I last shut it off? I looked in the manual and didn't see anything.
Every time I start mine...
I think mine shakes a bit a idle, and makes more noise than I'd expect. However, I'm coming from 20+ years of driving BMWs so I chalk it up to the fact it's not a German motor and it shouldn't be expected to balance a champagne flute when running and make very little mechanical noise. A buddy...
I thought the RK joints might be rough but not at all. My old race cars with poly bushings were way more harsh. Honestly, you would never know. It’s more comfortable than the stock Rubicon suspension, especially on rough roads.
But that’s why there is vanilla and chocolate. MC makes good lifts...
I just installed the ProX and all I can say is it’s the ONLY lift to buy. Aside from the quality, the triangulated 4 link in the rear is a game changer. Completely transforms the truck. It’s exponentially better on the road than with a track bar in the rear. Unless another reputable company...
