Most likely the new maintenance schedule showing a fuel filter change every oil change now. I got nothing from my dealer and they didn't even know about the new schedule. They also didn't catch my buddy's full delete either so I wasn't expecting much.
Is that easy to find? I have ZERO confidence that my dealer is going to do this right since the dude argued with me on the phone that the recall doesn't call for a pump replacement unless there's metal in it. Took me having to show the guy the paperwork and argue for awhile about it. Sure...
Ok well Jeep Bogus Tipton in Brownsville, TX is giving me the run around saying they need to inspect it first before they order and replace. Of course there's no rentals. Does anyone have the recall steps handy so I can go in and show them in person?
Sorry buddy but you got rid of your diesel for the wrong reasons. First off anyone who bought this for fuel savings was sadly misinformed. You buy the ED for the torque and drivability, not to save a buck. Secondly that fuel pump problem was GREATLY over hyped. Shit can happen to any vehicle and...
They absolutely DO NOT have the right to void your warrant on a modification that is not related. Unless you are a canuck, in the state the burden is on them to prove the modification you did is the cause of the problem. So putting in an aftermarket fuel pump has nothing to do with say a u-joint.
You try to torque it again a second time before taking it in? On my last oil change I had to torque the oil filter twice because the oil light came on again after the first time. This next time around I'm going to keep the torque wrench in the truck for a week or so just for this reason.
Or could be they just aren't on the lots, if you want a two door you have to go through the pain of factory ordering one IF they even offer it. EPA fuel requirements push bigger vehicles since the larger the vehicle, the less mpgs it has to meet. A 2 door JT would sell most likely better than a...
Yea they're gonna pull something out of their ass to make it work...THATS the type of vehicle I want lol.
And where are they gonna put these batteries? There's no real space anywhere. Remove the spare? Put it under the back seats high up? It's obvious you REALLY want this to happen but you...
It COULD happen. We already have the 392 in the JL with all the engineering done, with cooling taken care of already. Since the JT is the same cabin forward, it wouldn't be that difficult. We don't know if the hurricane will fit into the JT yet and as we mentioned before, the 4cyl 4XE isn't...
I doubt we will see the 4cyl 4xe in the JT and IF we do, I just don't see it being that practical. Basically for people that want to drive something that looks like a truck but wouldn't be functional as a truck whatsoever. I'm holding out we see a 5.7 option instead until the hurricane becomes...
