Ok, I gotcha. With a narrow 34, you will probably need an inch or 1.5 leveling puck up front and slightly longer front shocks and sway bar disconnects to fully articulate it.
Then stuff the front and make sure you aren't going to touch any of the hard bits.
I went straight to 37s on a Clayton...
Gearing has absolutely nothing to do with articulation.
The factory 6spd with 32s and 3.73s is a dog. 6th is a pipe dream except downhill.
4.56 is the answer.
Took mine off on purpose the first time I pulled the doors, yanked the clip off and tossed it in the trash.. 5 years later, not a single issue, and it doesn't make any more noise than anything else in the cab... pop the clip out of the mounting hole and add velcro if it bugs you.
Its from Jeeps market research team. The sent one a few months ago where they had a gladiator mockup with a full width grill and minimal front fenders asking about styling.
I had another one where they were focused on tech stuff like 360* cameras or underbody cameras.
I get them all the time...
If your ultimate goal is 35's and you don't plan to really wheel it hard, look at the 2.5" clayton ride right, or even their 1.5" if you will really only be trail riding.
the 3.5" kit netted me almost 5 inches in the front, plenty of room for 37s.
Its the 19A recall software causing your problems. There is at least one company mentioned on the board that will unlock your ECU and remove the new update.
yes, that was my point. That stuff is already worked out for the 392 (or any hemi) on the wrangler side, so putting the mounts and bracing on a JT frame is as simple as putting it on..
I realize the 2.0, 4xe, 3.6 and 392 are different from each other.
From the B pillar forward, all JLs and JTs are identical except for the Mojave and it's extra bracing. The frame is the same, the engineering is the same.
What Stellantis charges is what they are going to charge..
Really? Next time I'm out I'll pay attention to that. Most of my wheeling locally is in a pretty confined area with lots of obstacles. There are days where it may only be 7 miles but takes 3 hours, so I never consider gas mileage off road except on big trips.
agreed. I'm sure mcmaster-carr makes what we need, just need to know the size of the one jeep uses and then I can measure it all and find one that fits.
correct.. that bracket stays installed on the door frame, then pull the pin on each door, unhook the wiring and pull them off..
As soon as these are available, I'll order them and see what it'll take to retrofit them.
My guess is for cost reasons, the check arms and brackets are the same from...
