So the center caps that come with the wheels now (2026) seem to have a "raised Q'" logo in the insert to the center cap. They didn't back in 2020 when I bought my wheels. However, if you buy just the center caps (black or chrome) for $7.99, the center cap insert are without that raised "Q"...

That looks absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to see the final build. I love that hood decal and side decals. Will be a head turner for sure! You will have a 1 off build for sure.
  3. Wilco Hitchgate drop update

Can't wait to see your build. Post pics as you get the project going! Sounds exciting. Will do on the brake light. Should be straightforward to tap into the power circuit for the current tailgate 3rd brake light. The connector is mounted about mid tailgate area under the bed at the rear. I...

Thank you! To be honest with you, I love it. Its solid, no rattle with the wedge lock mounting system. I have always liked the look of a spare on the back with the old Scrambler, Bronco's and some K5's and Ramchagers / Traildusters. And its now accessible if I get another tire that needs to...

Got the centercap on and matching black lug nuts like my regular wheels. Decided to do the license plate relocation bracket just to not have any unwanted run-ins with law enforcement. Shouldn't be any different then having a bike rack or something else mounted to the hitch, but didn't want to...

Well Done. Looks fantastic. Great build so far.
  7. Seat Heaters Not Working - Fuses are OK

I'm just the opposite. My seats both work but 1 day my heated steering wheel will work and the next day it will turn on for 3 seconds and shut off. Then the next day it will work. Thankfully its warming up here and I don't need to use it anymore. :) Will have to figure it out for next fall...

Just like every Ram / Ford / GM 2500 /3500 owner keeps their tow mirrors in the outward position no matter if they're towing or not
  9. JT Sport mod recs

Track bar install should be done on the ground with the weight of the jeep on the tires. So no jack required.
  10. JT Sport mod recs

So when you lift a jeep, the front axle shifts to the drivers side due to the suspension design (track bar being mounted to axle and frame). You then need an adjustable track bar to move it back to the passenger side. Put a straight edge or piece of wood from the outside of the tire from the...

Phone mount for sure. I like the compressor idea especially if you beach cruising Couldn't tell in your pics if you have a tonneau cover or not? I know you only said you did a 2" kit but did you measure your front axle side to side to make sure you don't need a adjustable track bar? Simple...

Excellent. Look fwd to it. Thanks!

Here are some pics of it mounted and distance to tailgate and length of carrier from rear bumper. Just under 5 3/4 from tailgate and 9 1/4" overall length of carrier from the rear bumper Here is a pic of the center cap. Its hard to get focused and you can't see them at unless your inches away...

Thank you very much. The center cap inserts that came this time with the rim I bought, had a cap with a "Q" engraved into it. But when I purchased the black center cap (because that is what I have on the truck), it came with the "rounded" but smooth with no "Q" engraved it in just like the...

The wedge lock that goes into the reciever needed to be greased the bushings are made of some special compound and they don't need to be greased (according to the instructions anyways).

I got it about another inch closer to the tailgate. I'll get ya pic shortly Sadly, I don't think you'll be able to run a 37" and have the bed fully come down without hitting the tire as my 35" contacts the tailgate (barely) but it does
  17. Wilco Hitchgate drop update

Thank you very much. Appreciate it. This mounting location was the furthest from the tailgate. I can go closer the tailgate / bumper the only issue is the cotter pin to pull the pin out will be located under the bumper which just makes it a tad bit more difficult to pull the pin out to drop...

No idea on how I posted this in the classified section. But it got deleted, so let me post it again with updates Got it unboxed, got my extra Q tech retro wheel and center cap this past weekend. Did a quick test fit using the 35" Grabber spare i had under the truck. I was going to purchase...
  19. Prerunner grille lights

Gotcha. Thanks. I actually had to google how its mounted as I've never seen one before. Looks like there is room just under the camera to mount them all in a straight line just under the camera. Or buy an extra light and slice it into a existing kit and make it a 4 light kit and bypass the...

I wonder what the reason that the Quadratec 3 lights don't work with the front trail cam? I have this system (minus Trail cam), is it because it plugs and plays into the factory harness on the drivers side fender area and the connectors are not the same if you have the trail cam option? The...
