Here's a blast from the past! Me and my 1989 Comanche. Many many years ago
Fun truck. I paid 6700 for it with only 9000 miles on it! I put a 3 inch lift and 31 inch Cooper MT's on it along with a Smittybuilt
double tube push bar bumper on it. It had the indistructable 4.0 in it with a 5...
I'm no trailer expert by all means... But it seems that a trailer that size seems to be much too big and dangerous for our little JTs to handle isn't it? I'd be petrified!
I have a question that I probably already know the answer to. The first time I decide to leave the front tops off last night after taking the kids for ice cream it rained!!! I double and triple checked the weather last
night. Pissed! Will it hurt anything? Mainly fronts seats and center...
I love my JT... But what's the point if you can't take the doors off! Should have just bought a regular mid size truck. What do the engineers think is going to happen if you make them fragile. Then blame it on the customers. Looks like my doors won't be coming off.
Well I got my JT back from the dealer. TSB completed. I have to say that I can drive with one hand or a couple of fingers without constantly correcting. The steering wheel also returns to center after turns now. Pleased so far. Haven't gone on the highway yet.
I get mine back tommorow from having the tsb taking care of. They called today saying that it would be another day because of a code popping up regarding anti skid. It happened after the software update. Will post the results after I get it back.
