What MVJK2015 said! The Rain Gear cover will fit with the rear top in place. I'm in SE Alabama where it's 50% chance of rain throughout the summer. My driving profile is freedom panels out (placed in bed), front doors off (stored in garage), Jpeggz mirrors/foot pegs, Rain Gear cover on when...
I'm pretty sure your 5 lb tank is 5lbs of propane at 80% full. When I was in college and working at a propane supplier, I would routinely fill 20, 30, and 100 lb tanks. I always filled them based on weight. We would weigh the empty tank then add the appropriate weight to the scale and fill...
Except when mine decides to randomly go into some sort of "outside air refresh mode". Cruising along in SE Alabama (heat + humidity) with the AC doing its thing...then, for some reason, it decides to open outside air directly into the cabin through the floor vents. Takes my nice cool...
I use an off-brand cord plugged into the console port with my phone lying sideways between the parking brake handle and console. Haven't had any issues with my Apple XR w/lightning port for over 2 years.
2020 JTR, steel bumper (wings removed), stock tires, stock suspension. 20-ish mpg if I stay on back roads and keep the speed below 60. Drops to 17-ish on interstate at 75 mph. Doors/top off knocks it down 2-3 mpg. Curious what the mpg would do on the interstate with the windshield down?
The dealer probably forgot to remove the carpet cut-out. Remove the carpet cut-out, remove the existing rubber plug in the floor, push floor mat drain down such that it snaps into floor, install removable plug into floor mat. Mine was the same way when I picked it up from the dealer.
Finally tried holding the SET+ button on my 2020 JTR today. It did not operate as described in this thread. If I hold the SET+ button, my cruise set speed simply increases 1 mph/sec until I release it. There must have been a software change between the year groups.
Edit: Mine could be...
I have not built this one yet, but I plan on it. This is my favorite DIY I've seen:

Thanks for the info...I had no idea the cruise would jump by 5 if the + button was held. I usually just bump it +or- 1 or 2 at a time. I don't really see an issue with the +5, +10, etc. but I also don't have to worry with rapid acceleration on the highway since I have to manually downshift if...
I voted Freedom Panels off, doors off; but I only take the front doors off so all of my mountain biking crap that's thrown in the back floorboard/seat doesn't fly out the side when I take a corner. The only reason I didn't vote full top off is due to the propensity for pop-up rain showers in SE...
30k miles on a ‘ 20 6MT JTR with no problems. My 78 year old mom has a ‘18 JL Sahara 6MT w/50k miles and no issues. Those are my personal experiences. Yes there have been issues and the pressure plate is minimally acceptable for the torque available and would bet there were some manufacturing...
Please detail your PERSONAL experience with this issue. The facts of approximately 68 noted failures out of thousands produced doesn’t exactly seem like the sky is falling.
It has to be an optical illusion due to the wheel wells being more filled. I like the look with the wheel wells filled in with the larger tires. I was planning on 35s but I really like the looks of those 37s. No rubbing lock-to-lock?
