If it had silver shock extensions, my guess would be that it is the Daystar 1.5" level kit. To verify, see if there are now 2 holes in the driver side shock mount. As I understand it, the driver side shock extension hole does not line up with the factory hole, so a new hole must be drilled...
I don't believe the '20 model Rubicons can lock the rear in 4 Hi. I think this was a change to the programming in the '21 model Rubicons. I'll give it another try when I get home tonight using the off-road+, traction control button sequence.
30A is a standard size and the cost vs a 20A switch is minimal. The 30A contacts would be more robust and would provide a higher mean time before failure. Many business decisions would also come into play (i.e. number of different type switches to keep in stock at the factory, potential...
Thanks for the info. All my bolts could be tightened another 1/4 turn when I checked them tonight. I didn't use a torque wrench, but I know when I put the top on back in September all bolts were tight. I had also been noticing a slight "bump" sound when I hit a rough spot in the road. I'm...
Sounds like an issue with your door check device. Unbolt the door check (hold-open) device as if you were going to remove the door and see if the door opens freely.
Probably most likely to happen when turning and the rock would originate from the opposite side of the direction of turning (i.e. driver side tire if turning right). Rotating tire picks up stationary stone in tread; stone then must accelerate with tire but the centrifugal force causes the stone...
Look closely at the bottom of your windshield where the 2 cracks in your last picture dip below the dash. I would bet there is a small chip where those 2 cracks join near the bottom edge of the glass. I've had other vehicles get a small (I'm talking barely visible) rock ding at the window edge...
My wife had the same issue as OHJeeper on her Ford Edge ST. Called to cancel music and lost everything. She gave up talking to Sirius after numerous tries; just wasn't worth her effort. So the answer to the OPs question would technically be "Just cancel the music, and everything else will be...
Curious, do you have any lift or leveling kit installed. I've been thinking about 37s on my JTR but really don't want to do anything more than a 1.5 leveling kit in the front and 3/4" in the rear.
After a mountain bike crash that gave me a stiff neck, I started using my backup cam. I edited the home screen to put the camera access as the 2nd button on the bottom of the screen. Not perfect, but helped when I had a stiff neck and have gotten into the habit of using this process if I'm...
2 up front, 2 in the back which can easily be reached from the driver seat (unless you have T-Rex arms)...how thirsty are you? ;) For red-rider, I also have a manual and don't have an issue with the front cup holder with my 32 oz Yeti as long as I don't wrap my finger around the shifter...
I'm in the same boat as the OP...have original AL steering box but haven't noticed any issues so I haven't had it replaced. I think I may go ahead and take it in before my 3/36 runs out in May 2023.
But the ASS only works when you completely let out the clutch while in neutral. Makes for a nice option whether to use it or not...if I see I'm going to be at a light for more than 15 seconds or so, I'll let the ASS activate; otherwise I keep the clutch depressed.
