Yes, currently on #3.
I have the SteerSmart Sector Shaft brace installed as well. I’ve had very poor luck with OEM steering components AND the local Jeep service center. There was a competent service manager but the dealership changed his job…
I have installed all SteerSmart YETI components. I...
For verification.
you had the .75” Jackers and kept them in place.
you then ordered option #1 of the Slammers.
Can you provide detail as to what position the slammers are in?
I envision the front of the seat too high and my butt on the floor.
I’ve only had the .75” Jackers in a few days but...
This Jeep is driving me nuts.
Replaced rear sway bar.
Upgraded all four sway links.
Pulled the FALCONS and installed Bilsteins, still not happy.
Just ordered the reservoir FALCON 3.3s…
I’m about to ditch Jeep. I tow this Gladiator and love how easy it is to drop gearbox in neutral.
The...
Since I hemorrhage money into my 2020 Gladiator Overland…. Trying to correct Jeep’s piss poor design and crap China parts…
I need to fix the comfort of the seats.
I tried the 1.25” front mounts… way too much for me.
Just replaced with .75”… DesertDoesIt offered to take back the 1.25”… that’s...
I too am experiencing unusual transmission shifting.
I have approximately 27,000 miles on my 2020 Gladiator Overland.
It has always “clunked” into gear unless I let it idle down for several seconds after start, the “clunk” is loud and hard.
it’s always garage kept.
After start, the idle is...
I installed a sector bearing bracket, new bolts came with the kit. Looks like 44 ft lbs +135°.
Better do more research or call Jeep.
I highly recommend the Sector Shaft Brace/Bearing.
Good Luck
I just installed SteerSmart Yeti teack bar, drag link, and tie rod. Very happy so far. Jeep drives completely different. YUGE improvement. I also installed SteerSmarts Sectir Shaft Bearing Support.
This week I installed SteerSmart YETI track bar, Griffin drag link, and tie rod. When I loosened the nuts for the tie rods, the tapered shafts dropped out of the wheel hub mounts…. Same with the right drag link ball joint…. If I’d loosened and removed the nut the tie rod would have fell to the...
I had the same which led to the third gearbox (second black steel gearbox). The bolts were loose from the first gearbox replacement. This Also lead to damage of the sector gear.
After installation of new gearbox by Jeep, I added a SteerSmarts Sector Shaft Bearing kit. I’m hoping this helps with...
My setup on my Overland is almost identical. 1.5” Tereflex leveling kit.
My Falcon SP2 2.1 don’t perform well in cold temperatures. Lots of body roll.
I’m considering another brand. Bilsteins or King.
Are you still satisfied with your Falcons?
thanks
2020 Overland with Tereflex 1.5” front leveling kit and Falcon SP2 2.1 shocks set on soft ride.
Truck rides fine in warm Northwest Arkansas weather but when it’s cold, the ride is not good. Lots of body roll. I believe it’s the shocks.
Does this sound familiar?
Just had the second gearbox...
I’d like to know if simply rotating the drag link and tie rod components should make noises in the ball joints. The dealership said tightening the bolts was all that’s necessary.
I’ve had the gearbox replaced. I just had the gearbox bolts tightened… that was a clown show.
My Jeep wanders. I’m on my third set of tires searching for a better driving vehicle and get less crap from my wife. I still have wander.
When I rotate the tie rod and drag link I hear the ball...
My pitman arm shaft appears to be moving laterally in the gearbox case. It pops loudly when moved. It’s the “updated” gearbox. After it was installed I told the service manager it still wasn’t right. They need to listen to us.
Hello Jeep Cares… when is the engineers going to solve this problem??
I’ve got the MOPAR version.
I was happy the first nine months, now it’s got lots of wind noise. As soon as the wife complains it’s got to be adjusted or back come the hard panels.
