Gas $3.40, diesel $5.99 at Sheetz and Speedway in North Ridgeville, OH. Gas prices fluctuate daily, diesel seems to be fixed at $5.99 for quite a while now.
Right before my initial free trial ended I took an offer for $6.55/mo (taxes included) for a year. That deal was to end this week. I called Monday and got the same deal for another year. Just tell them you won't pay full price.
The optional Selec-Trac transfercase has 2H-4Auto-4PartTime-N-4L. Yes if it's in 4PT it's just like the standard transfercase, front and rear shafts locked.
Living in NE Ohio, I ordered Selec-Trac on my 21 JTR. I was already familiar with the Jeep terminology, had Selec-Trac on my previous two 99 XJ Cherokees.
I haven't read pages 2-5 of this thread, but I haven't seen any mention of 0W20 oil contributing to the the excessive oil consumption. For those of you experiencing the oil consumption issue, why not change to 5W30 on the next oil change, then report back your findings. Check...
Have to totally agree with post #2. My JT Rubicon drives like a Cadillac compared to my TJ Rubicon (which I've driven from OH to SD and back without issue).
Mine's a daily driver. It's versatile. It has 4 doors, I can take the family . It has a bed, I can haul stuff. It's a Jeep, I can take it off-road if I want. But I do have a TJ Rubicon on 35's that I regularly use off-road. I'll use my Gladiator for easier scenic trails in Colorado someday.
