  1. Steering binding in 4lo

I'm questioning the power steering because you said the day started off good. It was only after awhile that you noticed a problem.
  2. Steering binding in 4lo

What size tires? Maybe the stock power steering is unable to handle the bigger aired-down tires?
  3. First Gladiator

    Congrats!
  4. What does Diesel vs Gasoline cost per gallon for you locally?

Gas $3.40, diesel $5.99 at Sheetz and Speedway in North Ridgeville, OH. Gas prices fluctuate daily, diesel seems to be fixed at $5.99 for quite a while now.
  5. Sirus XM subscription?

Right before my initial free trial ended I took an offer for $6.55/mo (taxes included) for a year. That deal was to end this week. I called Monday and got the same deal for another year. Just tell them you won't pay full price.
  6. Loving select-trac!

The Selec-trac for the Rubicon is listed as "4:1 Rock-Trac Full Time 4WD System" on my window sticker.

Seems to meet the criteria for a lemon law buy back.
  8. 4WD not working with Tazer

The optional Selec-Trac transfercase has 2H-4Auto-4PartTime-N-4L. Yes if it's in 4PT it's just like the standard transfercase, front and rear shafts locked.

The only luck I've had to get leaves out was to push them out using a driveway marker.

I like the Wrangler front on the Gladiator, same as I like the Cherokee front on the Comanche.
  15. Has anyone noticed their gladiator burning oil

I haven't read pages 2-5 of this thread, but I haven't seen any mention of 0W20 oil contributing to the the excessive oil consumption. For those of you experiencing the oil consumption issue, why not change to 5W30 on the next oil change, then report back your findings. Check...

Have you tried using WholesaleMopar.com in Lakeland, FL?
  17. Thinking of buying a Gladiator

Have to totally agree with post #2. My JT Rubicon drives like a Cadillac compared to my TJ Rubicon (which I've driven from OH to SD and back without issue).
  18. How do you plan to drive your Gladiator?

Mine's a daily driver. It's versatile. It has 4 doors, I can take the family . It has a bed, I can haul stuff. It's a Jeep, I can take it off-road if I want. But I do have a TJ Rubicon on 35's that I regularly use off-road. I'll use my Gladiator for easier scenic trails in Colorado someday.
  19. No more drain plug?

Same here, front drain plug is straight thread.
  20. Selling Wrangler TJ for my JT. Should upgrade tires/shocks before sale?

I wouldn't put any more money into it. The new buyer can make his own choices. Your TJ should bring top dollar if in good condition.
