Selling Wrangler TJ for my JT. Should upgrade tires/shocks before sale?

Hi,

I am planning on selling my Wrangler TJ on Bring-A-Trailer in the next month after acquiring my 22 JT in December. The TJ is good condition - single owner.

Question: It could use new shocks and new tires - but runs fine currently. Would I get my money+time back if I upgraded them before the sale or let new owner do it? TJ is mostly stock currently

If it were me buying it, I'd want it as 'unmolested' as possible. I don't want to pay extra for your choices if I don't agree with them.

I wouldn't put any more money into it. The new buyer can make his own choices. Your TJ should bring top dollar if in good condition.
