Well got my answer today. Confirmed with the supplier of the connector that the protective sleeve, officially called the male blade protector, is preset from the factory in the the “protect” position. Once the connectors are mated together, the protector then moves and remains in the pushed in...
Are the 2018 JL mopar led headlights the same as current JT production? Looking to swap my halogens out. Just want to make sure the JL version is the same.
Looking to see if anyone has a set of take off OEM LED headlights and would like to trade for a set of Bestop Premium front soft doors. Located in NJ. Not looking to ship.

My OCD is getting the best of me. I still can’t figure out why the sleeve comes out of the notches. Is it during assembly or reassembly? Is the sleeve or the lever defective.
Somehow the tab keeps popping out of the notch. Not sure if it’s occurring during assembly or reassembly. Will try some silicone spray….I think these connectors are made by yazaki.
So are some of these sleeves defective? No matter how careful I am the sleeve pops out of the groove. For those who had them replaced under warranty, did that solve you issue?
Bought with hardtop, picked up new premium soft top for $700 on marketplace. Couldn’t be happier. Did the same with my JKs. I do agree that premium could be left on year round. Not that much louder than hardtop.
Has anyone come up with a permanent solution or an adapter? Every time I unplug the wire harness the protective sleeve fails to slide over the pins. Getting tired of manually having to slide the sleeve over the pins prior to reassembly.
