  1. Those who installed aux switches

ok, so I did this exact thing... and the dealers I went to said no... you have to replace the entire connector... hogwash I say... I am looking for some of these female pins, which I believe are called Molex connectors... just have to find the right size, then I can splice the wire. What I...
  2. Fishbone Tackle Rack accessories

So I installed the Fishbone tackle rack recently, but am curious what accessories people have added to theirs. All racks seem to have different mounting point sizes, so not sure what may fit. Fishbone doesn’t sell any accessory mounts themselves, so curious what people have done. I see a few...
  3. Colorado or Front Range Gladiator owners

Yeah I think all of us on the front range are getting it good. I’m near Nederland and it is pretty bad.
  4. Colorado or Front Range Gladiator owners

Curious how the smoke is out there... we are thinking of a trip, but not really wanting to deal with smoke.
  5. Aux Switches - Can A Dealer Install?

they are correct, but be very careful, and get a proper pin extractor (pusher)... I messed up one of mine, and then tried to pull the wire out the back with pliers (because the metal pin was bent). When I tried to pull it out... my crappy eyesight didn't notice I had a hold of the wire next to...
  6. Bed Racks - Now Available

@JcrOffroad what is the spacing between the bolt holes for your traction board mounting brackets?
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Very much this... I just installed the rack last weekend and had 5 that wouldn’t tighten. Got a breaker bar to work on two of them, but not the last 3. Unfortunately the remaining 3 wouldn’t come off... I think the threads by the neck of the bolt are bad, so I had to take a hacksaw to 3 of them...
  8. Those who installed aux switches

So I have been posting my troubles here... https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/aux-switches-install-snafu-any-help.33373/ Is that all the orange wire deals with... ess? I clipped the grey wire next to it, and no longer have sway bar disconnect. The JL wiring diagram I found seems...
  9. Aux switches install SNAFU... any help?

Ok, update. Finally got the two pins out... uggg, pain. One is kind of broken, but think it may still work. I am leaving tomorrow, so don’t have time to get that solder/wrap connector... going to have to grab whatever they have at the local hardware store. Probably a crimp type. in regards to...
  10. Aux switches install SNAFU... any help?

Ok, looking at things now, it seems the cameras are working, but off road + doesn’t seem to be working... or sway bar is not disconnecting. i found the circuit in a JL wiring guide, it is the Lin Bus system. The D401 connects the switch bank 2 off road to the sensor -intelligent battery...
  11. Aux Switches - Can A Dealer Install?

So I messed up the pins when swapping them out... what toolkit / pin remover I’d you use @MGladiator83 / @Gunnuts ? I broke the wire ( and the one next to it) with the metal connector still inside... Need to figure out what to do next... this was a major PITA... instructions and video were...
  12. Aux switches install SNAFU... any help?

so you stripped the wire, but what did you connect the heat shrink with? Unfortunately the wire broke from the squarish female connector in the TPA. I guess get those out, find new female connectors, splice with heat shrink/soder? where do you find those connectors... not sure what they are...
  13. Aux switches install SNAFU... any help?

So we reconnected everything and the rear and front cameras stopped working, so not sure if that was the orange wire we were supposed to tie into, or the gray wire next to it. also it seems the sway bar is not disconnecting...So perhaps the gray wire? any thoughts would be much appreciated.
  14. Aux switches install SNAFU... any help?

While trying to get the orange wire out of the TPA under the glovebox, I broke that orange wire and the grey one next to it with the connector inside. the orange is x302 circuit D401, but no clue what the grey one is next to it. I plug this back in and drive away... what won’t be working, and...
  15. Ultimate Overlanding and Camping Power Source

It looks like from the rest of your comment that you will also be offering just the accessory module? I really like the modular approach. I have been waffling back and forth between all-in-one vs part-by-part for upgrades and fixability. The modular approach hits both worlds... as I am not...
  16. Can you add OEM AUX switches?

not trying to make a big deal, but I am not super not to mention I am a complete noob and have no clue what I am doing... so trying to get all the information I can before I install.
  17. Can you add OEM AUX switches?

Yeah, I figure those battery/ignition leads would be helpful for things like radios that have their own switches.. or a dash cam tied to the ignition. no need to take up an Aux switch that way and can leave them for lights. I plan on pulling through a couple extra wires to mirror the factory...
  18. Wires hanging down under glove box?

Thanks for the advice! Will definitely feed them through while I am in there. Will let you know how it goes after the weekend!
  19. Wires hanging down under glove box?

Thanks! 1 more question... My aux switches are coming this week, so not sure what size the wires are...I am assuming those are only 18 or 16 gage for battery/ignition since they are 10 amp? I guess I could install 12 or 10 gage if I want to put a different fuse on it... any concerns on that...
  20. Wires hanging down under glove box?

awesome Awesome, thanks. For anyone that has the factory installed aux switches, are those in-line fuses, or are they in the fuse box? I am going to try and install a couple of extra wires while I do an install of the switches, so just curious how it is all wired
