Just for clarity, everyone is talking about these being LT (Light Truck) tires, right?
Both stock tire options for the JT (A/T and M/Tās) are JT... (Opps, Freudian Whip, errr Freudian Slip, I must have JT on the brain!) ... both are LT Falken tires.
ALSO here is a really good tire test...
So in looking up the USA crash test it says it hasnāt been done?!?

Any one know why it hasnāt been tested and what timeframe manufacturers are allowed before testing must occur?
Search site for other Wrangler years and couldnāt find any with a...
Here is the Euro test, agree that it is different to US testing, but that doesnāt mean there arenāt things to learn. Agree that I read it with a grain of salt. Test not cratering for aggressive off-road vehicles.

Congrats to all that have been able to order the LE! The rest of the world just has to wait!
I do want to start a conversation about crash testing, any known data, rumours, facts. Being the JL suffered a one star (with some true issues being uncovered and some seemingly poor planning by...
HA! Funny how Jeepers, sailors, campers, caravaner can all hook up and chat online and have a great time!
No worries on your post-a-matic-frenzy friend, you can't be American and be thin skinned in Australia; I'm no shrinking violet regardless!
Just a side note, the website is to a Jeep...
Ha ha! it's not "my" website, a Jeep
Mate... as I told you... re-read your OWN posts, the only troll seems to be your foolish responses to anything you don't like ... you post a fair bit of inaccurate things, is it to increase your posting numbers.? .. fine, post and dribble away... but...
Ha! Nah, I've lived in AU for a decade... just get back for holidays and vacations at times... I sail. Bought a yacht in Mexico and spent six months cruising Mexico before taking a year to cross the South Pacific. We then raced her in the Sydney Hobart yacht race (one of the more difficult...
Mate! Can you please bother to do a little bit of research before you post. I saw you earlier commenting on winning a prize for the most JL/Gladiator posts. sooo if your going to comment on Euro ratings, or the average AU income, at least bother to look into it before you just drop useless...
GāDay! But Iām a California boy over here. Aussieās do love their Toyotaās, and all 4wd utes (mid-sized trucks) so the Gladiator should sell ok here.
Iām laughing at yāall complaining about the JL price. It was just FINALLY released in Australia and a full kitted Rubicon is almost AU $80K...
I disagree with your above STATEMENT
Jeep seriously F$@@ up crash testing and possible engineering designs on the JL, will the Gladiator have similar issues?
Read Euro crash testing shows:
1.) passenger AND driver have massive chest and thigh damage at 60kph- 40mph!! 2.) the roll cage and...
How about a
1.) fuel tank that replaces the spare tire and transfers into the main tank... then would need a spare tire carrying option.
2.) side mirror delete, replaced with small cameras on booms that extend for towing and have a small LCD that is on dash corners for viewing like the mirrors...
She's finally seen... profs to FCA, as I love leaks like this to get us all salivating!
Questions and some opinions:
Rear door windows - do the new JL's have that partial moving - partial fixed, rear window as well? Not a fan of the smaller portion rolling down to make room for that HUGE...
Great info, thanks all!
Iām a Californian thatās been in Australia for the last decade plus. I grew up with a ā73 Bronco that Dad let me learn to 4wd in. Had a ā98 and ā00 Ram quad 4wd, but was working silly hours and afraid to scratch the black paint! Now Iām late 40ās and have a ā10 Jeep...
