I disagree with your above STATEMENTahh, did some research, it got 1 star by euro test standards because of non standard equipment.
Jeep seriously F$@@ up crash testing and possible engineering designs on the JL, will the Gladiator have similar issues?
Read Euro crash testing shows:
1.) passenger AND driver have massive chest and thigh damage at 60kph- 40mph!! 2.) the roll cage and footwell are deforming and not retaining cabin integrity, assume full failure at higher speeds
3.) rear passenger serious head injury for side strike
4.) exterior pedestrian injury, which I don’t care as much about
5.) loss if possible 5th star because no atonomous braking.
Something was seriously missed by FCA to fail these tests at 40MPH! So if the Gladiator basically has a JL front end, will it perform better?!
